I did mine by post to Bangkok (it is nearly 400 km from where I live) and it cost me less than 20 baht plus a visit to the post office. It took about 3 weeks.

Its 400km + to Bangkok from here so posting seem a good Idea. You say it took about 3 weeks so how long before the 90 days were up did you send it.

Is Mae Sot in Sukothai province? Each province should have it's own office - usuallt in the provincial capital.

No Mae Sot is in Tak, Its about 190 km from Sawankhalok To Mae Sot.

Hi I'm on a 1year extension to my marriage visa and due to report after the first 90 days. I live near Sawankhalok, Sukhothai and for my visa runs went to Mae Sot. Can anyone tell me if this is still my nearest Immigration Office to report to or are there other options.

I may have to go to Birmingham at some point over the next two weeks, and as my O visa needs renewing I thought I might kill two birds with one stone.

Does anyone know if they accept applications at the office, if so do I need to make an appointment in advance.. ?

Please keep answers relevent to the Birmingham office..

The Royal Thai Cosulate is in an office block about 50 meters from Birmingham New Street Station main entrance. If you have the completed forms and photos plus 95 quid it will take about 10 minutes to get your visa.
