I think you only get the Government pension at 67 and you will only get a % pro rata as to National Insurance premium paid and i do not think his poor wife can get anything.
Hopefully the child can get help

3 hours ago, nchuckle said:You should be on the Andaman side especially at this time of year. Just returned from Ko Lanta. Quieter and much better atmosphere than Samui unless you like that kind of cynical tackiness .

Ive met a fair few Taiwanese people and they have been friendly and wealthy and generous.
I would have them as tourists anytime but its all about China i think.
I miss King Bhumibol he was a good man who loved his people and kept the people together
I remember though when Thaskin was in charge saw an assassination right in front of me.
It was supposed to be a war on drugs but according to Thai mate he was getting rid of the opposition

i received 100% from aon formerly Scottish Equitable into my Malta Trust Account
The would not transfer to my Aus Care super due to QROPS rules on aus access before 55 even though i was 57
rather than create a SMSF i did this in Malta then had it paid to aus after a bit of cleaning as cash savings from years as an expat in Singapore
After questioning from ATO they accepted my explanation and tax free
803k
They will not send it anywhere unless the recipient is a QROPS recognized trust or pension
I am very lucky

they are boiler room scammers put em in jail

mate having a valid visa does not guarantee entry into any country

even after spending years in Thailand i have had little problem with LB's
I have no interest sexually and am just polite as i dont want trouble.
Through mates bars ive met some quiet and pleasant ones but lots of nightmares
A combination of confusion and frustration of sexuality combined with hormone therapy alcohol and narcotics will not help
I try to keep away from them really

my now wife is chinese but same issues
her family spent a fortune on agents but all denied
use an aussie agent if really needed and ask to see their conversion rate
your gf must need reason to go home ie family etc
I ended up doing re-application myself then letting agent submit

I lived in Asia throughout the 90.s based in Singapore but worked on the SET for few years
I earned too much money really, biz class flights/apartment/5 star hotels all paid for mad days
I visit Pattaya to see mates who live there and basically waste money
Apart from hotel which costs 400 aus per night i could live on 3k a day
Having a fit younger Chinese wife in Melbourne i dont come for sex just to relax and be out late
but i buy drinks for the girls etc
i eat local food because i like it and drink singha beer so life can be had cheaply

Is this a good home loan rate offered by a Thai bank?

Its good advice many Australians do this but watch out for exit fees and also changes in your circumstances that would make refinancing difficult and you are stuck with a higher rate
