I would vote for him. Pattaya could be as much a famous family destination as it could be a brothel. Currently, Pattaya does not offer much in the way of legal brothels.

Looks like the strength of the baht and immigration is better than Trumps wall.

And this is the reason we use agents, so they can make it our stay in THailand possible.

Are there not any toilets there?

Honestly, i've been going to Pattaya for 17 years and don't see an armageddon or apocalypse of depravity, place looks great. Nice condos, great bars, amazing night action, many tourists, plenty of amazing thai ladies with great smiles...can't complain.

Thank you for understanding. I'm happy to grace you with my knowledge, even though it is not quite infinite, anytime. But, by the way, as the rest of the forum knows, not knowing the difference between Bangkok and Hanoi doesn't require that much knowledge!
And I'm very happy to know that, whenever you're needed, you'll be in there "hard and fast" to look after us more defenceless unfortunates.
You are an amazing individual. Thank you for educating "all of us" again, your generosity is overwhelming - really! Equally, it warms all our hearts to know, we have your indispensable knowledge to show us the way. Thank you for enriching our lives.

Another faux hardman but this one doesn't even seem to know what country he's in. How many Thais does he think are held in the "Hanoi" Hilton?
Your right...that is why as a "Titanium member" you have infinite knowledge. Your are so fortunate to be gifted. Thank you for gracing us with your vast knowledge.

A Gofund would help, may not fix all problems. Everyone needs to do there job and be responsible. Take a back pack to teh grocery store, decline plastic straws, use garbage cans, be nice to people...everyone is responsible.

Who would you nominate to distribute, utise any funds raised, with a gaurantee of the funds not being embezzeled?
I'm open to suggestions. There are many honest TVF members such as you and I for starters, there's 2 people already, how many more do we need?

U got to be kidding!! THis is where a Gofund is justified. Hope all us rich expats are willing to donate.

If I were there I would of stepped in hard and fast....damm brit bully. The Thai looks like a small kid. Makes me so furious. I hope he is blacklisted forever. Scum! A few years at the local Hanoi hilton will help adjust his attitude once a few thai's have their way and trade him for cigarettes.

Wouldn't it be easier to do it online or by mail?
YES! But those options are not possible through out all of thailand. It depends on the location.

and what about the stupidity of the rider ?
4 up, no helmets, and defective bike, no wonder the death and injury toll is so high here.
It's been like this forever here with no change in sight...

To retire anywhere comfortably is all about the money. Most people if they have the extra money they wouldn’t retire in Thailand.
You hit the nail right on the head!
This explains in one sentence why there are so many whingers, Thai bashers and keyboard warriors herein. Living on a tight budget for the rest of your life with no other choice even to go home is absolute torture, no doubt. Hence, the desperation is easy to understand.
Very sad indeed.
BOTH of you nailed it!...between the whingers, thai bashers, keyboard warriors, and THai immigration nonsense...it is a very sad state of affairs here. On a positive note, it inspires some of us to seek a path of least or less resistance, ie, vietnam, Cambodia, etc....

1 hour ago, CMNightRider said:I showed up at the new Chiang Mai, Thai Immigration office to renew my one year visa. I'm still not certain why we are required to do this every year. The parking lot in front of immigrations entrance was packed with people standing in line to get a number so they could enter the already packed building. I stood in line for about twenty minutes and barely moved a few feet.
As I looked around, I had to wonder who on earth is the ringleader of this circus? This is a brand new facility and is obviously too small to accommodate the foreigners who live in Chiang Mai, in spite of the recent exodus of westerners. How could this be when these people already know the traffic numbers of foreigners required by law to report for yearly visa renewals, nonsensical 90 day reporting, TM30's, and other ridicules reasons they require foreigners to physically report daily to this facility.
I gave up waiting but as I was leaving this circus, I couldn't help notice several BMW's in the parking lot with immigrations logo on the doors and equipped with overhead emergency lights on the vehicle roof. You have got to be kidding me, lol. These people have the funds to purchase BMW's, and don't have the money to build an adequate immigration facility? This facility has three floors with no elevator. I guess Thai's have little to no regard for the elderly or handicapped. After all, they are just foreigners.
I had to park my vehicle across the street from immigration due to immigrations limited vehicle parking. I guess not much thought was put into the parking lot capacity either. As I attempted to walk across the street at the marked cross walk, I was reminded of pedestrians not having the right away in Thailand. The westerner in front of me must not have known this yet. He came within inches of being run over as the Thai driver pretended not to see him as he drove through the cross walk.
As I share my recent experience at Thai Immigration, I have an air cleaner sitting next to me running full bast. The air quality in Chiang Mai, is extremely poor due to Thailands lack of enforcement of polluting the air we breath. Instead of photographing foreigners who missed their 24 hour TM30 reporting requirement, surrounded by immigration officers who should be sitting at their desks processing the endless forms required by foreigners, maybe they could photograph air polluters instead.
1000% percent dead accurate! After reading, i couldn't help but feel again the hopelessness of my 90 days and 1yearly efforts....all for what? Is there no easier path? This is just not working anymore.

But it seems here are also many people who don't really want an answer. You could tell them exactly do this and that and they still wouldn't do it. Because they want to complain and are not interested in a solution. And maybe some of them realize that this is what they are but others have this "if only this and that would be different then..."
I agree!!! I was told by some longtime expats here, they don't bother with TVF because of the negativity.
