True. Most are like wild animals. Look at their behaviour. In fact, wild animals are better behaved.

Yes. I have had one (four actually) for about six years. And one is even in my wife's name. Have a limit of 200k locked against an account.
Bangkok Bank. Quite easy actually.

Nice neighbour indeed!

Will watch this for Freida Pinto. She is absolutely stunning.

I was in China not so long ago. As mentioned there - and it is true - Brexit is an example of democracy gone bad. As one poster accurately commented... What a cluster f*&!

Contempt of court. But to adhere to contempt of court principals you must have fair rules for all. This means of course that contempt of court does not apply in Thailand, especially as the courts (like the media) are so pliable.

Did you try to hire with the Thai one? It shouldn't have been a problem.
Not entirely sure but doubt it would have worked. Insurance issues.

Just hired a car yesterday in Brighton. UK driving licence required. Just the card. Paper bit no longer needed. (I also hold a Thai driving licence.)

What a shambles the UK has become. Don't see anyway out of it for some time unfortunately.

Thais should not be allowed to look after animals. Very rarely do they care.

The vast majority of Thai drivers are Thai men. I think that explains it.

Yes. Bangkok Bank. My wife has had a credit card for several years. Her card is linked to my account. I don’t have a work permit but work around region.

So sad. Have actually listened to her on the radio in the UK. Seemed such a happy person. RIP young lady.

Unbelievable. See so many of these stories. Keep asking the same question: why do it here? Do these people have brains or do they actually want to go to prison?

Think we'll try Black Swan. Toad in the hole sounds good. Not sure whether the missus will like it though! Thanks everyone

I’m sure this has been covered. But I’m a new guy here in Thailand. At least living. But anyway, I want to take my Thai girl for some real British grub. Don’t fancy bars down nana etc. But where’s best, any ideas? I’ve seen Robin Hood pub on the net. Any good? Any place outside of sukhumvit. Thanks for any ideas. Cheers. J

Hello. I'm a newbie here but have 'watched' for several months.
My query is about extension on marriage. The requirement is to show 400,000 seasoned for two months. Is that correct? And also, do we need to show where that 400,000 baht came from? Thank you so much for any responses.
