I have an X box s one that keeps powering off after about 5 mins. I have replaced the fan, the power source and even renewed the thermal paste. still powers off. I guessing the issue maybe the motherboard. Can anybody guide me towards somebody in either Bangkok or Korat who specializes in fixing Xbox consoles. Many Thanks Jason

Covid Insurance for 80yr old (30 day) trip to Thailand

Many thanks for the links ???? -
I am currently under consideration 30days for yearly marriage extension due to report back on 29th December. Given the current situation in the UK and the likely hood of UK quarantine on the cards, I am considering going back to the UK before the 30days and ditching the extension. Am I legally allowed to leave considering my actual extension expired on the 29th November, Worried immigration at suvarnabhum might hit me with an overstay or invent some new ruling. Advice needed Thanks

Thank you to all who responded. Eventually I managed to speak with a customer rep from KLM yesterday before we left for the airport. I explained that the online check in facility that KLM offers where the Covid 19 vaccine certificate needs to be uploaded had been rejected for not being in English. She kindly assured me that the white certificate that the Thai Government issues which has both Thai & English would be sufficient for check in, even though it was rejected online. We arrived at the airport and the certificate was indeed acceptable. He is now in London. So for future reference anybody flying back to the UK with KLM does not require a Yellow Vaccine / certificate passport for proof of vaccination status, the simple white paper certificate will be acceptable as proof. Though I would urge anybody travelling to reconfirm this with KLM before travelling. Thanks to all once again ????

My son is travelling back to the UK later today with KLM. I have just tried to upload his vaccination certificate to prove his vaccination status but it has been rejected because it says it is not in the correct language. The UK gov website states that the Certificate must be in English French or Spanish and at the Very least contain the following fornename/surname d.o.b vaccine brand & manufacturer date of vaccine country or territory of certificate issuer. All of the above are clearly written in Thai & English Will he still be able to check in with this certificate at the Airport ? Many Thanks *personal information edited out*

UK now recognises Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines
jasonr3255 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
My Stepson, who carries a UK passport will be travelling to the UK in 3 weeks he has had two vaccines here in Thailand of Sinovac & Astra Zeneca. Obviously his Vaccine certifications are both In Thai. Where and how would he get an English version as gov.uk says the Name d.o.b vaccine, issuing country must be in English. I’m assuming going to a local doctor translating the certificate and signing it would not be acceptable. Does anybody have any idea where we can pay way over the odds for such a document ???? -

Broccoli & Cauliflower 150 Baht a Kilo ????

Shock horror, Broccoli now hits 200 baht a kilo. Sod Bitcoin ! ???? -
Absolutely shocked at the rising prices of Broccoli & Cauliflower. Seems something is a miss when it’s cheaper to eat Pork than Broccoli & Cauliflower exactly double the price of the UK at the moment. It’s no surprise to see lifestyle diseases creeping up when it’s cheaper to eat the processed meats on the side of the road. Food for thought !! ????

Almost half a million Thais have heart disease
jasonr3255 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Unfortunately it’s the saturated fat from animal sources, primarily the processed pork deep fried in “all oils” that is the main cause of atherosclerosis which leads to heart disease. Sugar alone is not the Villain. Although consumed alongside saturated fat you have a deadly cocktail. WFPBD has been proven time & time again to show its the healthiest way to live. -
Thailand tipped to be removed from UK’s ‘red list’
jasonr3255 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Another baseless story from webfact. more probable is that Thailand is to remain on red list until traffic light system is shelved according to UK news sources. ????
