  1. Know exactly what you mean. First visit to the wife's house and the neighbours came over to say hello. Both teachers. The lady said something to me and I turned to the missus and asked what she said. Wife told me she said she was an English teacher. Didn't understand one word she said.
  2. Australia is excellent. Especially Queensland. Skin cancer capital of the world. I say this as a twenty year melanoma survivor.
  3. Or living the good life in Dubai with a body double doing time for him
  4. There seems to be weekly marches or protests supporting them under the guise of Palestinian support.
  5. Hamas doesn't seem to care much about war crimes. Why is it ok for one side in this conflict get massive support for their crimes, yet the other gets condemned for alleged war crimes?
  6. "Ok class, repeat after me. One for you ,two for me"
  7. Very sad, she is well respected and loved by many Burmese people as was her father. They still had a national holiday for general Aung when I Iived there.
  8. When will the world wake up to this terror.
  9. Nonsense. They made the ultimate sacrifice for the complete opposite reason.....for freedom. And I thank them every year.
  10. Happy to be a dissident. Nay, not happy, I'm proud to be a dissident. Hopefully I can, in a small way, improve the world, or at least slow the decline into Orwell's 1984, for my grandkids. Google is free isn't it? Then you are the product. Let that sink in. Dictionary Definitions from Oxford Languages · Learn more noun a person who opposes official policy, especially that of an authoritarian state.
  11. Please don't encourage GG. Next he'll be asking where the men's toilets are to combine both walking and his other hobby.
  12. I certainly know how to use it. I have developed a cynical view of mega corporations over the years. They are information hungry for their own, possibly, nefarious needs. Much the same as I have an aversion to totalitarian regimes such as the CCP. At least the CCP are open about control. Does anyone really know what or how the, basically, unregulated corporations are doing. As some smart person said years ago, knowledge is power. Sadly I do believe to some extent that life imitates art. RoboCop springs to mind.
  13. Google is nobodies friend. Nor are any of the other mega corps.
  14. Or saddened to see the change in sentiment with the courts. He and many of his cohorts might have an uncomfortable feeling that they might not be untouchable at some future time.
  15. Instant 3% in the cost of living. A lot of people would notice that.
  16. Turn it into a Mediterranean resort as President Trump suggested a while ago. Sounds great and might bring some stability with Arab investment. Now go and take out the Iranian regime and return that country to what it used to be. Job done and win win for everyone.
  17. Possibly because they have wisdom in their elder years and are surrounded by some very, very, smart advisors. Even JFK as a young President had a bunch of smart advisors. Ultimately the President makes the political decisions on known facts and advice. Age doesn't really come in to it. I read an article where a CEO of a company set about hiring people for senior management positions. He got them all together for an initial meeting and said ' if I've done my job correctly, I'm the dumbest person in the room'. Let that sink in.
  18. How can Trump get elected for a third term? Not possible after, I think, Roosevelt, changed it to two terms only.
  19. How did Biden go handling stairs. I know people who have worn colostomy bags since birth. What is the point you are trying to make? Apart from tearing down a guy who has become the of the USA twice. Don't worry you'll get another chance to vote for your preferred candidate in a few years. Meanwhile accept he is running the show. If he can't handle it....that's why there is a vice president.
  20. Say what you want. Historically I would agree. But we are now in the present dealing with current issues. If Islam does it for you and your country, then continue down the current path. I think a lot of UK citizens may disagree and I can see this leading to a civil war in the not too distant future. The government is not listening and from what I have read neither are the police or the judicial system. As I have said, not my country. People will decide one way or another. I don't know if that will be the native population or the imported ones. Either way it will get ugly and many people will die. Very sad.
  21. Not my constitution. Not my country. You do the research. I'm merely commenting on what I see is, sadly, happening to a once great country. Who is defining human rights? Certainly not Islam, one of the most brutal cults in the history of mankind. Don't join us and you will be subservient and taxed. Joins us and leave and you will be murdered. Enjoy your future eutopia.
