@Letica on soi 88 - never trained there, haven't heard a lot of positive things about it. Expensive.
Hua Hin Spa & Fitness on soi 94 - used to train there, basic, but OK, small and gets crowded sometimes. Cheap.
PowerFit on soi 102 - current place I train, awesome, more machines etc on order and coming soon they have only been open a month. Mid-range. They are on Facebook.

How many forums u post this in? I met the guy a few times and he has always been extremely polite and friendly. Maybe you caught him on an off day as he's preparing to open his new business which I hope your forum rants don't do any harm too. Maybe smokers just pi55 him off and I wouldn't blame him for that.

Look up:
Souay Vista, Hua Hin
Cantaloupe Island, Hua Hin
Thai Waii, Paknampran/Pranburi- these guys especially might know an out the way place for your friend to practice, as it is located well out the way.

I have a friend who is opening a British/Irish style restaurant in the very centre of Hua Hin and is seeking an experienced chef and also a manager for the venture. Work permit, etc, will be provided for foreign nationals. The location is superb, a huge area to use and loads of potential. Please PM me for more info etc.
Concept
· Relaxed British (Irish) style Public House/Restaurant/Guest House
· Family Friendly – large children’s play area/garden
· 5 to 7 guest rooms
· 2 restaurant seating areas one inside one outside garden
· Meeting place…but not a BAR
F&B
· Simple British/International food items with specialty dishes e.g. Indian
· All day English Breakfast and every day Sunday Roast
· Open for breakfast, lunch & dinner daily
· Draught and imported bottle beers etc

No, it's now a run down chicken coop, sadly.
If you want to train in that area, go a bit further south to Samroiyod beach/Dolphin Bay area and find 301 Muay Thai. Nong Toom trains there also I believe, or used to at least.

Actually, thinking back, I think one of the places I stayed there was as the description above, and 5-7K p/m. Seriously wouldn't recommend it though.

In Pranburi, near the beach, you might get a 2 bedroom, Thai style bungalow , furnished with junk for 10K p/m if you are lucky. Don't expect it to be clean or secure or have a decent water supply.

12 agents 12 phone calls, I don't see how phoning them could be quicker than emailing?
As I said 2 had property that I was interested in and I emailed to ask if they were available on a longterm rent, 1 of these agents replied, actually replied to say the property I enquired about was no longer available but at least they replied
The 10 who I sent general enquirys telling them what I was looking for, my budget etc etc did not reply, even a reply to say we have nothing available but if we do we will contact you is in my view the sign of a good business, the fact that they couldn't be bothered shows me that most of the agents here are not interested
If a company cannot even be bothered to reply to a enquiry which in turn could make them money then in my view they are not worth dealing with again
12 emails sent, 1 reply, if I ever consider buying a house here or someone wants a recommendation for a agent guess which agent will get the business?
You didn't know it at the time, but you were sent a PM within minutes/hours of your initial post from someone working for a large property agency in Hua Hin that gave you straight advice without even mentioning their company or trying to work any angle at all. They are not all bad

Could look into KIDO soi 102, other than the location I don't know anything about it though. They have a website I think.

The guy who wants it is an Apple man so I guess iOs, but I would tell him to go for Android, so probably both in actual fact.

Mods - sorry if this is the wrong forum, wasn't sure if it should be in jobs or something else...
I am looking for someone who can write a mobile app for a fairly large real estate company based in Thailand. Please PM me if you can recommend anyone and we can discuss details.
TIA

I stayed in a monthly place on the soi that runs between 94 and 88 (a gym on each of these sois) which was 7000B per month, they had studios for 5000B per month. Nicely furnished, great location, best of all, big pool, free WiFi and water. Tesco Express and another supermarket easy walking distance. I think it's called Baan Weerut. But....always booked out with a waiting list. A few more in that area, but I don't know any of the names.

Hey there,
Not similar to Jomtien in most ways, though I haven't been there for years, but we do have gyms (best is on soi 88 called Aletica), supermarkets (Villa Market, Tesco, Big C, etc), and decent Internet (I use AIS 3G unlimited on a smart phone, and 3bb 10mb/ps WiFi at home, both very good IMO).
I have met many people that have come over from Pattaya etc that are bored within a few days here, but if you come with low expectations (for nightlife) and basically aren't a total monger, you can keep yourself entertained here I think.
There seem to a be a few monthly apartments popping up, they might have a better rate.
Good luck!

Had one since they came out and love it... having unlimited ais 3g data makes all the difference, not sure if that's up there already?

Talk to Jane at Chavalit & Partners (British lawyer been in Hua Hin for yonks), not sure if company formation is her specialty, but if it isn't she will say so and won't waste your time. If it is, you are in very good hands.

Big C opening soon on Pala U Road also

Probably best off going to a tattoo parlour, there are plenty around.
Back-combing and beeswax!

8K per month is tough in Hua Hin...I know a girl who works for a large real estate agency, and it took her a long time to find a place she would live in for that budget. She hasn't had water there for the last 2 days, mind...

Give it a rest!!!
With the exclamation marks!!!
It makes for very abrasive reading!!??
-
I would see it as their role to be mediator for sure, but there are limits to what they can do. Might need to know more of the story...am interested to hear what an 'un-resolvable' issue might be, and if it is un-resolvable, what can you expect the agents to do? Will you share more?

Did @Letic move to a new location (from Market Village), or are there now two locations? Of course, their web site doesn't give a clue.
It moved. Now on soi 88 behind Big Kiang
Gym Fitness Centers
in Hua Hin and Cha-Am

I think only the one on soi 88.....soi 94 is fan only, soi 102 has fans and breeze
