Does she have a fiance Visa?
A list of the documents would, I hope, be given to her at the time of applying, also you should use google it will help.
Thanks - No, she has a tourist visa. Yes, have tried Google. We had never planned on doing it in the UK, but have occasion to visit and thought I'd see what would be required, if we wanted to.

Can't find the info on the forum, but sorry if it's somewhere really obvious and I have overlooked it.
IF I wanted to marry my long term Thai partner on our next trip to England (already have visa), what would she need to bring with her, and what (documents, etc) would I need?
Thanks!

Just had my partner's second UK visitor visa approved last week. Both trips have just been for 3 weeks. Provided plenty of supporting documentation - letters of invite from family and friends, bank statements, photographs, travel itinerary, details of relationship, etc etc.

Vitamin B complex tablets available in any pharmacy for next to nothing, Milk Thistle extract/Samarin 70/equivalent, lots of water, rice soup with lots of black pepper.
If you can remember to take the vit B and Samarin 70 before sleep, also works wonders.

I was just thinking the other day how good it would be to have such a thing!
Have you looked into the legalities though?
Some spoil sport is bound to say it counts as working and you must have a work permit!

best kebab i have had here was on Paknampran beach in Pranburi, chicken tikka with garlic and spicy sauce and also salad. 59 Baht. The girl who sells them is awesome and she'll serve it up as a salad also. Best deal on that beach for sure.

I don't, but my bookstore has several books on the matter - the guy they came from didn't wear glasses!
I'll send them to you for a good price!

Hi,
Anyone fancy joining the gym on soi 94? Well equipped plus sauna, Jacuzzi, etc.
I’m asking as I’ll probably join anyway, but if 2 people join together, you get 50% off one membership.
So for example a 6 month membership is 4500B, if 2 people then 6750B, /2 = 3375B each for 6 months (562B per month)
PM if interested.
Cheers.

Insomnia has just opened in HH, I'm pretty sure it's the same guys who own the ones in Bangkok and Pattaya
Can't remember the Soi number, maybe Soi 88? but it's just past the Railway Tavern
Closes at 2AM and is dead as a dodo from what I have heard, strange place to put a club IMHO
I have heard this is a very high end knocking shop (200K membership, 250B a small beer, etc)

sorry that should be 30KM south of Hua Hin
Who would travel 30 km for a burger?
Takiab is not 30 km from Hua Hin.
You get what you pay for, cheap burger cheap meat.
I said that Khao Kalok is 30KM south of Hua Hin, not Khao Takiab.
You might not go there specifically for a burger, but there is a great place to stop for one should you so desire.

Have tried Bintaburger, tasty, but so are most things at 12am after 10 beers!
Gave Kiss a go, good juicy burger and a cool place to sit out and watch life go by. Will definitely go back and sample some more of their menu.
Another place I recommend is Neko Jung Japanese next to the blue and yellow book shop on PK Road, great prices, good food, nutty chef!
Sad that they are moving way down the other end of town (opposite Index) this Saturday.

Try Best Beans (think thats the name) in Khao Takiab, just after you turn left to go to K.T. and on the left where they have a row of new shophouses, it's the last on the row before a small street that goes to the beach, loads of tables and chairs and a bar outside. Great burgers, not huge, but they are only 90B or so, with cheese and salad and a side of potato chips.
If you want a REALLY special burger, go to Road House in Pranburi on the Paknampran beach road, just before Khao Kalok (about 3km south of Hua Hin). It's an American BBQ place that does char-grilled burgers and has a lot of specials, like blue cheese burgers and the like. Also use home-made BBQ sauce. Their smoked bbq ribs are to die for.Don't head down for a few days though, I happen to know they won't be open until later this week.

Have to go to KL for B visa next week. Bad timing, really.
If I leave on Thursday, get to the embassy Friday morning, does anybody know when i can expect the visa to be ready?
Also any cheap guest house recommendations will be appreciated.
TIA!

OK, thanks for the replies. I wasn't sure whether the utilize date was for the first entry or not...
Looks like I'll be leaving before 24th.
Cheers.

Hi, I hope someone can help and save my Christmas!
I have a triple entry tourist visa, that says it must be utilised before 22 Nov 2011:
1st 60 day entry opened on 31 May 2011, got a 30 day extension.
2nd 60 day entry opened on 27 Aug 2011, got a 30 day extension.
Was due to leave on 24 Nov 2011, got in an accident and was hospitalised for 1 week.
Girlfriend went to immigration, got me an extension based on the hospitalisation until 24 Dec 2011.
I still have the 3rd entry blank, and there is nothing in my passport to say it has been invalidated.
BUT, the Hua Hin immigration franchise told my GF I would not be able to use this third entry.
I don't really want to go on a visa run on Xmas eve, if I can help it.
Can I use this 3rd entry? I really don't see why not.
Any advice please?
MUCH appreciated.

Pranburi (rooms) very full already also

Makro in Pranburi has only small bottles of Chang water in packs of 12 limited to 5 packs per customer (oh, and cup boxes of cup size water and a few bottles or Perrier...)

Sorry, I don't have any numbers, you can try and contact them through Facebook:

If the link doesn't work, look up Parinya Muay Thai on FB, (I think their website is down).

Just heard a rumour that as of next month there will be no more ASN on True move, anyone else heard the same?
I.am.flabbergasted.

It's a little way out of Hua Hin, but I would def. reccommend 301 Muay Thai in Samroiyod (perhaps 45 minutes drive or so south of Hua Hin). Especially if you are coming specifically to train. They have a website, take a look.
I heard of Samroiyod. Did you personally train there? How was your experience?
I only trained there a couple of times cos of time/work/other issues. If I could, I would go everyday!
-
Yes.
301 Muay Thai / MMA near Samroiyod beach (have a website)
and
Nong Toom's new Muay Tai gym at Khao Kalok.
PM me if you want explicit directions!
