Bolt 300 Bt more expensive from Pattaya to Central Bangkok than an ordinary Thai taxi.
A taxi on the meter would not be 300 baht less.

A 'normal' air-con, be it inverter or old style, DO NOT vent any air out of the room. They merely circulate the air whether cooling it, or de-humidifying it. The only thing which goes outside is the water which it extracts.
Agreed they're not venting anything out but they can be cleaning the air passing through them. Not sure how effective but the option on my one is described thus in the manual:

Yes, really. I read it on here and did it successfully a few years ago applying for a non O in the UK.

Once I was told that there must be someone with the same name or birthday. So? What gives?
This is reasonably common in other countries where having the same name as an undesirable can lead to extra questioning so why not Thailand?

I was told the same thing the last time mine was rejected after returning from overseas, first 90 day after return must be done in person, then from that point on you can do it online.
What office? Not all are the same as I and others can verify.

No they are not implicitly linked.
The Thai legal system appears to say otherwise, but the OP hasn't been back since he started the thread so will probably never clarify.

Requesting a visa extension due to pending legal matters and having your passport confiscated because of pending civil litigation are entirely separate matters.
Implicitly linked in as much as there are procedures in place to make sure the defendant doesn't leave the country, but still has the ability to remain there lawfully.

Not to mention difficult to renew visas, etc. Just doesn't make sense.
Visas can be extended for the specific reason of having a court casse pending so it doeesn't seem too far fetched to me.

Any Comments???
Different office, different rules. I've done mine (and I know of others too) who have had on-line reports approved after being out of the country, and I also know of folk who've had them approved after obtaining a new passport where others have said this is not possible.
No real way to define the rules and just have to do what your office requires seems to be the solution.
Edit. The good results I mention have all been from Jomtien immigration.

Is your upcoming flight from BKK or DMK? If BKK then I would say the 7:00am bus is fine but risky if it's from DMK. There's a 6:00am Bell's bus from North Pattaya that would give you more breathing room.

I had informed them when booking and at check in the person at the desk even wrote it on my boarding pass !!
Sounds like they did their bit but it's the airport operator who actually provides the service so it's them who has let you down IMO, not AirAsia.

They have your TM30 on file.
Apparently they moved to a new database last year so nobody was "on file" any longer until the new database got populated. This meant TM30s in the eyes of some offices.

Then there should be a possibility to appeal against incompetent or unfair decisions, and I mean within hours rather than weeks(?) to the minister.
There is a method but i don't know the timescales. You need a TM11 form which the OP could have lodged on his initial refusal to enter.

At BKK airport I headed to floor 1 and baught my bus ticket. And this is the only part of the experience that was anoying. I had to wait like 2.5 hours until the bus left. No idea if this is normal or not. The fare was 143 thb.
Nice report.
Regarding the bit I quoted, the timetable is currently showing buses every hour on the hour from 7am until 9pm. There's normally a sign at the booking desk saying what time the bus they are currently selling tickets for leaves and it may have just been that the one (or two) before yours was sold out already.
If you're prepared to take the risk of losing out due to delays etc you can book on line in advance for a 25 baht booking fee. maybe even book a later one and try to change it if there's an earlier option for another 30 baht fee.

Live chat with a real person is also not available anymore.
There used to be a method to force the Ava chat bot to pass you onto a human.
1. Type "Change email"
2. Ignore the next few responses until you see "Talk to Allstar". Click on this.
3. Enter the details requested.
4. You'll be put in a queue to chat with a human.
Try this and let us know if it still works.

Posting the link or the airline would be helpful.
It's from secretflying.com. Redirects to skyscanner which shows Batik air on the outbound from DMK with a >6 hour transit in KUL, and Scoot on the return to BKK with a > 12 hour transit in SIN, on the dates I saw.

Someone mentioned that in his experience, they kept the volume up on the speakers above the seats while others mentioned their rides were quiet. Would you happen to recall which was the case for you?
I've been on numerous Nakhonchaiair buses, most recently last month from Mochit to Kalasin and never experienced loud music. From what I've read, the loud music buses are normally local services.

Which of these apps have you used for TAXI ?

The pic is from the app at the time of posting and Bolt's price was as shown. Not sure where you got the 1,500 to 1,700 baht from. Do a dummy booking and you'll see a price from Bolt.
