  1. Hi I’m going to UK with Thai wife, Thai step daughter (25) and Thai granddaughter (8)

I’m wondering if there’s any special requirement or permission documents for the granddaughter to leave Thailand without both of her parents.

My step daughter says maybe we need to get the granddaughters father ID card copy to show thai immigration at departure

Any thought or recent experience thanks

Great again. Thanks so much! Planning this trip has been stressful.

We MUST try to stay calm, smile when things get put in your way.

Thais must show how strong they are by requesting one more thing is required, this is part of their culture and it shows where they and you are in the hierarchy class system.

we should not question them, we should only reply  by saying "I'm sorry I don't fully understand you are truly an expert in your field of expertise, I am truly beneath you, thank you for correcting me"

Who will get the bigger fine from those plonkers at UEFA?
Eintracht for their alleged racist behaviour, or Rangers for rightfully showing respect to the Queen?

    what about this lot

what an utter embarrassment, after players and officials wore black armbands.

LOL. Both my long term partners were "the right one" till they weren't.

I can cook and clean, and don't need anyone to do that for me. I'm also a great handyman.

I only got married to have sex without having to go look for it every night. I happened to love her till she changed into a horrible person, so love ain't worth a <deleted> when it comes prolonging marriage, IMO.

The first year of marriage was great, but then it wasn't anymore.

I can respect your opinion, but I will still tell anyone to get married

i HATE it when someone tries to justify being in a long term relationship and NOT getting married, to me its a cop out, they're weak.

    Thanks, not tech savy.

So I can just buy a firesstick online and plug it in and am ready to go?

Is firestick better than the Chinese ones?

Plug it in and go YES

firestick isn't any better than Chinese Short answer No

I think very similar prices now 30-40 USD,

These devices are basically mini computers, without Keyboard, Screen etc, they normally have minimum Storage also as this concept is all about streaming.

HUGE selection, but you'll have to install Software-App's (Programmes) to really use it properly, each device manufacturer will try and make you use their own Software-App's.

I pay arguably too much for my UK TV 6,500 THB per year, but I've tried so called free stuff and cheaper stuff, and after 12-18 months the software goes a bit funny.

so i pay and I'm extremely happy with the service, no VPN as that must already be incorporated into the software Application. I can rewind the TV channels for 7 rolling days, and watch for example last night News at 10 as live, it also has a library of recent movies & TV (catch up Video on demand VOD).

PM me and i can send you link to the one I use.

good luck and play around with whatever you get

  6. HUGE selection

    everyone has their own favourite,

    How tech savy are you?????

    for example

I'm from UK so i go down the Firestick 4k MAX route, and i have added some apps to that.

    • Iview HD (IPTV UK TV provider 6,500 per year) absolutely life changing for me.
    • Youtube Family Premium 299 (great service )
    • Netflix ( don't use that much, wife and kids use)
    • Disney Hotstar ( don't use that much, wife and kids use)

I use 3BB home internet 963 THB per month 1Gb speed unlimited usage.

my Firestick is Connected to Samsung QN 900A 65" TV

  7. Dear Celtic Fans

are you angry or upset that Rangers are ranked higher in the Champions league Group stage (Projected ) draw

why has UEFA made Rangers HIGHER, we haven't played in CL for  12 seasons?

Please NOTE, if Benfica fail to qualify Rangers would Jump to POT 3

So instead of saying 'do servicing at 6/12 months', why not, as Toyota say, service at certain kilometerages (don't have miles in Thailand), or a certain time, WHICH EVER COMES FIRST.

my Toyota service sticker say both XKM or months (whichever comes 1st)

its actually based on KM, but they limit the duration in case some smarty uses 9,999km and then doesn't bring it in for 20 months

Not talking silly kilos a car nowadays in UK travelling 10.000 miles to 15,000 miles is considered average mileage.

A car with 100,000 miles on it in good condition will still have a lot life in the engine.

20 years ago we had a 2•0 ltr Cavalier auto which we kept as a spare car with 220,000 miles on it and still going sweet.

my Toyota is now 6 years old we have 68k on the clock, I like to take it to Toyota dealer once a year.

it costs a wee bit more but not an issue just now.

I expect to change it over to a newer once i stop work, so probably another 4-7 years for now

then the last car will be run to the ground

  10. ALL vehicles have different stages of servicing

for example in the 1st 5 years they have a higher level, say every 5,000km-10,000km

after they have reached 5 years the serving ratio gets longer.

    so to summarise

new 1st 5 years get serviced every 6 months.

then 5 years get recommended service every 12 months

they also estimate the average vehicle will travel 12,000 Km per year.

so even though old and new vehicles travel the same estimated distance per year, the level of servicing is different, its most related to liability with the manufactures.

Did you get a re-entry permit before you left the country?  If not your extension  of stay was voided what  you left. In which case either enter visa exempt snd extend  it or get a single entry tourist  visa.

    Yes I normally get a Multi re-entry.

    but

my plans have changed, i will simply arrive after my retirement extension has expired so I will get a 30 day upon entry and airport.

I'm still working so I wont be staying longer than 30 days at any one time.
