I just ordered some online from http://nespresso-thailand.com/ approx 30฿ per capsule, it took 3-4 days for delivery
-
Does it matter where we buy the device? or can we use an asia one, and sign in to UK itunes and view netflix Sky news etc?
The AppleTV you can buy anywhere and use anywhere, your AppleID is set to UK, so you will see the UK content, even while in Thailand.
But to watch the content (while here in Thailand) like netflix and Sky news etc you will need a VPN service.
can you recomend a VPN?

has anybody tried to order direct from the Nespresso company??

Try the Apple.com.th store, they'll ship it for free, I've used them before for several items pretty good, and they’ll give tracking number etc
I want to buy from there but they only accept Thai, Singapore and US credit cards.
I have none of them except kasikorn k-web virtual credit card.
I'm okay to use kasikorn virtual card but they don't deposit funds back when there is refund. If somehow apple store refuses order, I'm afraid to lose 23,900 baht.
What kind of credit card you have used during your past orders? Do anybody have recent experience with their credit cards issued from homecountries (that is not USA or Singapore of course)?
I think I used my normal credit card, or my wifes, both have Thai address, but I remember some changes have been made to Apple online stores this year, However you can use a card with different address to the shipping address as I ordered an iphone 3 weeks ago from UK using my Thai credit card

I've used and ipad since day1, and I used a laptop for many years, for ME the ipad wins, as I very rarely use it for work.
it purely down to personal choice, I use it mostly for video calls to my family, its super easy to use, the best for me is not having to call someone to tell them to go and log in on skype or yahoo or any other video calling program? the ipad will be ready to accept calls at any time,(as long as it’s in range of wifi or 3g )
my needs are different from my wife and mother, but we all enjoy using ipad
I would tell anyone to buy one as it’s a great device and fun, it you need something for work, then you’ll already have a laptop or desktop.
so just update you Laptop or desktop

I was thinking of buying one for my 12 year old's birthday. If I buy the wi-fi only version is there a way for her to access True wifi while out and about? i.e. is there a true wifi only package?
I think you'll need some sort of account already with TRUE to access the TRUE WIFI hotspots, maybe link the ipad to your TRUE account and that should work, if your going for a wifi only ipad.

no warranty but so far not much problems with apple devices in 3-4 years
Is it not subject to standard AppleCare coverage? As I understand, this is transferable between buyers.
I don't know, or even didn't know you can transfer the coverage.
has anyone tried to do it and then make a claim later

How much did you pay for?
I paid 32,500 for the Grey coloured 64gb
i sold him my 5 for 16,000
I've used him many times for iphones & ipad etc, he's honest
PS
I've just paid 700 pounds for a gold 5s for the Daughter, my brother will bring it from the Uk, so 32K is ok with me

I bought a Grey market 5s 64Gb 10 days ago in Pattaya Big C 2nd road, in a small telecom shop, so far very happy, finger print sensor/touch ID is excellent and very easy to use, I can notice the speed is faster compared to the iphone 5
A very good product, but pricy for sure
-
You can buy one in Pattaya, I just upgraded from a 5, I'm happy and the wife still thinks it's a 5

The prices are from the telecom shop in Big C 2nd road, up stairs close to the cinema. Ive used the shop several times and the guy is honest enough.
The iPhone 5s Grey 64gb 32,900
They had 5C but only 16Gb, which is far too small, 24-25 depending on the colour
-
Anyone know the cost?
I'll head to TUKCOM Pattaya tomorrow, so a heads up will help
-
Thanks for you reply
-
It's best to make a back up of your phone. Then erase ALL. Take it to the shop.
Then once you get it back, restore from a back up. Be careful though.
Make sure you never restore a back up from online do it locally
