A vaccinated Austrian arrives. He has needs pre-flight test. He will be post flight tested. The chance of him to bring a new case to Thailand is minimal as been shown over the past 18 months or so of arrival programs all around the world. If a case is detected he can be isolated and treated, if even necessary, most people have sniffles. That is what the test and go and insurance is for right?

Why is it so bad to get covid from a foreigner anyway? If you can just hop on a train or go to work or Tesco and get it from one of the 45 percent of unvaccinated locals? The virus is never going away from now it is live with it or stay closed forever.

And you can also catch it from vaccinated locals as well. Even if 100% vaccination was reached it doesn’t matter as its NOT  a vaccine. A vaccine stops transmission and gives you immunity- this does neither, wake up

Not if we all vaccinate and vanquish this virus.  Sadly, that's going to be many years in the future.

You do, I assume, have the brain capacity to understand that even with a 100% vaccine rate, covid will still be here, because it is NOT a vaccine. A vaccine by definition stops infection or transmission. This injection does none of the afore mentioned.....so it's literally none a vaccine by definition

this property and those cars can be seen on googlemaps and even on satelite images, but because it was clean money nobody ever questioned how an officer on max 80k per month can have this house and that many cars.

Actually, there were all together 29 cars at his garage.

I would think he has many houses and many more cars. Land papers. Bank accounts. Secret safes and walk-in vaults.

    In his name.

In name of his parents, siblings, cousins, girlfriends.

But not as much, as his superior in chain of command

If you get to Bangkok Hospital - CM before 9:30 am, for a PCR test, you'll get the results by 6 pm the same day, so:

    Day 1  Get PCR test

    Day 2 Drive to Bangkok

    Day 3 Leave from BKK

  5. Hi,

Ive been granted a travel visa to leave Australia by Aus gov.

I'm not vaccinated, what are my options - I want to be with my partner in Koh Phangan

From what Ive researched I can fly to BKK on a none exempt visa and get 45 days, do my 10-14 days quarantine in BKK.

After Ive done my 10-14 day Q, Am I then able to travel to KPG no issues, and apply for a 60 day extension?

Also, my residential address is Aus, but im both a UK & Aus passport holder and would like to onward travel to UK afterwards - will that be proof of return flight onwards travel, or does your return need to be from port of destination, to obtain your certificate of entry ?

    Help would be appreciated?

Firstly, being under 50 and not married to a Thai limits your options to stay long term in Thailand.

Secondly, having a compelling reason to leave Australia in order to obtain an exemption.

I can only think of only one situation that may allow you to obtain an exemption and allow you to stay long term in Thailand, but that forces your hand - marriage to your Thai partner.

Alternatively wait until the worst of the Covid pandemic subsides and restrictions/requirements are downgraded.

Agree - but even if marriage to my Thai was a option, we'd both have to be in either Thailand or Australia. And depressingly Aus gov have montioned that international travel might be off the cards till 2024.....

  7. Hi,

Although not married, I have a Thai partner. Am currently in Australia and wish to go to Thailand for a extended period. Anyone is similar situation? And has anyone been successful in applying to both Australian government and Thai government to permit this? Don't want to spend thousands on visa lawyers.
