She sent me downstairs to the BB branch and they gave me something that was acceptable for 100 baht. Took about 5 minutes.

The same thing happened to me in December. Just go to the BB branch in the basement of CW. They will give you a letter that is acceptable. At least it was in December.

A transfer (wire transfer from my Schwab brokerage account) completed OK. Something tells me this is part of the preparation prior to enacting the new tax law.

For the past year or so I have been moving money into Thailand through the New York branch of Bangkok Bank. This morning I noticed that the account that was Bangkok Bank New York has been changed to Evolve Bank and Trust. Does anyone know anything about a change?
