  1. The final cut off date is probably 29th September. Its mentioned in this link https://mobile.asda.com/old-network under the section key dates. The script given to the call centre workers says the cut off is the 15th, but then the script says its not possible to process the change outside of the uk. Like being in Thailand. Well that was wrong as this thread has shown. Thanks for posting this thread . I am in Thailand and the switch over happened yesterday with no problems. It was done through the website not by text or phone. The process asks 3 or 4 questions then switches over next working day, keeping the same phone number and any existing credit.
  2. Heres a long shot. Moving Thailand on to the UK red list seems strange as the case numbers and fatalities are improving in the country, so a reason given by the Uk government for its decision is ‘the lower levels of published genomic surveillance in Thailand’ Well all nations including Thailand and the UK send these surveillence results to gisaid.org which I presume counts as publishing the figures. Clearly some government scientists in the UK are not happy with government scientists in Thailand. This isn’t about deaths, infections, or real people being sick its a bureacratic tiff. But its an easy fix, scientists in Thailand have just to send more surveillence results to gisaid.org That could all be agreed in one government to government or scientist to scientist phone call before 4.00 am Monday 30th August Chances of that happening? https://www.gov.uk/government/news/international-travel-update-new-destinations-added-to-government-travel-lists
