  1. It is Thailand to Thailand. Rather not get into specific unless needed but it's not a hard drug.
  2. Certain medication that could be prescribed in other countries that isn't accepted here. I really would like it but I'm a bit worried about having it sent to me through post. Is there that much concern? Are they x-raying packages? Sorry if this is against the rules of the forum.
  3. Do you think it is worse to have a brand new passport with just the latest business visa, vs a passport with 1-2 years of history but includes a sketchy ED visa? My concern is from talking to Todd from the visa facebook group in the past. He said I should try and get that stamp out of my passport and refers to it as "the stamp of death" ????
  4. While that may be true, I don't want to take any chances of being stuck in immigration. Although they have my complete history, I have heard whatever stamp is present on the passport does make a difference at the airport.
  5. Thanks for the replies. I actually did not lose my passport, but I got scammed by an ED company and I've heard the ED visa can cause problems in immigration when I visit again. Basically want to get that stamp out of my passport. Could I just avoid the step of having to go to the police by just going to the US embassy and asking for a new passport? Just think it might be weird because my passport is new. Or do I not have much to worry about at the embassy, not like they would grill people like immigration might?
  6. From the US, just wondering how a visa would transfer over? I have a business visa.
  7. When I press 9 for English, it's all in Thai. *got through, you have to give it a second after they say press 9
  8. The crappy thing with reapplying is, do they only look at the newer application? I actually just did reapply with the correct dates, and it still showed the dates 1 day back. But what if it's just a UI mistake, and if I reapply a day later, it's actually wrong? Sorry just really stressed!
  9. Could be some time zone issue. But I needed to resubmit a document and I noticed my birthday and arrival date is off. There is 0% chance I did it wrong for both, I triple checked everything. Has this happened to anybody? Might be good to check your info if you're waiting a review, but I'm not sure what to do now. I tried calling their number but it's hard to get through.
  10. Just to the Thailand Pass home page. So not sure if I reapply or they know I gave information to the hotel, because reapplying restarts the whole process.
  11. So I will contact them about my flight number and airport arrival time. Do I then re-register? I'm not sure if I need to make any adjustments. But how will they know that I contacted the hotel? Also my flight leaves in 5 days...really nervous I won't hear from them in time. Any suggestions what to do?
  12. Thanks for the information! Anything about having a departure flight out of Thailand?
  13. I am from the United States. I am using a visa agent, and they told me I don't need a Thailand tourist visa if staying under 30 days, and will get a visa on arrival stamp. They also said they can sort me out for extension or student visa, or potentially elite visa when I land, because I intend to stay well past 30 days. Does this sound legit?
  14. In modern nicer condos how are they soundproofing between floors? Could I pull off hitting golf balls without bothering my neighbors? In places I've lived the floors seemed solid, I never heard any noise travel between them besides drilling sounds. I'm pretty sure there will be sounds in the hallway, but everywhere I've lived, sound magically disappears between rooms. Won't be hitting any drivers, just irons. The sound of the club hitting the mat is more like a medium frequency thud than something bassy. The sound of the ball will be really loud but more high-pitched. Would it help at all to put a layer of carpet under everything, and acoustic foam on the walls?
