Good points all. But I have my policy papers, and I have a hunch the kind folks at immigration won't be worried. The president of the company, who is French, has lived in Thailand for 31 years. In 45 years of business, I've been fooled once or twice, but I'm a pretty good judge of character. Anyway - I have the piece of paper I need, and it didn't cost me thousands of dollars. If one believes that paying more for a big name will truly get you more "safety" - go for it. I've had dealings with big name insurance companies. Know how they afford those big names? Just like Vegas casinos get built. I don't trust big-name insurance companies any more than my Aunt Fannie. If the Thai immigration decide to turn me away, I'll be right back here to admit I was wrong. But I'll take bets right now the difference between "the bigs" and this company is nothing more than a website grammatical error.
