  1. I just received an email for my appointment at OSSC to get my WPLTR visa. The email stated the day, but not the time, of my appointment. Do I just show up at OSSC (with all the required docs), at any time?
  2. I just got approved for WP LTR -- yay! Two questions: The email to me says I need to bring Application form for LTR Visa (TM.94), and Criteria and Conditions Acknowledgement Form for a Temporary Stay Permit in the Kingdom (LTR Visa) (STM.8) to my meeting at One Start One Stop Investment Center. Any idea where I can download these 2 forms? Also, how will the appointment at OSS be set up -- will it be emailed to me?
  3. The status for my WP LTR visa application online just changed to pending, from processing. I applied 2 weeks ago. Anybody know what Pending means - hopefully something good - and what happens next?
  4. Has anybody seen the forms to apply for the LTR Retirement visa? Or the detailed requirements, such as how to prove income and health care insurance?
  5. My problem also, I have both Cigna Insurance from Europe, and Thailand LMG insurance for my OA visa. Up to now, they complement each other, so no problem. But when the required coverage goes up, then it is no longer complementary, and becomes a problem. Has anybody contacted Cigna Thailand, to see if the policy can be switched from Europe to Thailand?
  6. Another question. I have O-A retirement visa with 9 annual extensions, and both Cigna and LMG health care insurance. The LMG insurance matches my visa dates, so it has allowed me to extend my visa, while Cigna date do not match my visa. Now that Cigna will be allowed to extend my O-A visa, I wish to drop LMG. But I have to get my the Cigna dates to match my visa dates, unless that Immigration policy has changed. I have two choices -- I can ask Cigna to change my policy dates to match my visa dates, but they told me it would require canceling my policy, then starting a new policy year. This would open me up to underwriting, and possibly change the policy exclusions. The other option is to see if Immigration will change my visa dates to match my Cigna policy dates. This would mean asking them to give me only a 3 month extension, then returning to Immigration for the normal 12 month extension. Does anybody have any experience with this, and can offer me advice?
  7. Yes, I have a similar question to the one above -- Do health care insurance companies outside of Thailand meet this requirement for O-A retirees? I have a Cigna policy which exceeds the requirements, but has not worked in the past O-A extensions. So I have the LMG policy also, which does work. I am wondering if I can just continue Cigna, and possibly drop LMG? A further issue is the the dates of the Cigna policy do not match my visa dates, something I will have to work out.
  8. This article in Pattaya Mail https://www.pattayamail.com/latestnews/news/thailand-now-clarifies-aspects-of-its-new-welcome-policy-376620 implies that the only change for O-A visas is that $50,000 Covid insurance is required, in addition to 400,000 / 40.000 baht in-patient / out-patient. Doesn't say if it's for new visas or extensions. Looks like a lot more clarification is required.
