Strongly advise exchanging now if you intend to do so!

I imagine these acts have more visibility in the modern age, but I suspect the Thai dramas that normalize this type of violence in society isn't helping either.

Ladyboys sometimes look nice all done up, however you should probably see one without all the glitz and glam and see if you still feel the same way.

The prettiest girls in Thailand come from Buriram, why, I don't know.

So many red flags in one series of messages... run.
1. Take care = financially support me.
2. Don't like sex = no different than a Western woman.
3. Led the guy on for three years and the subject never once came up? I doubt it, she seems like she needs a sponsor more than a boyfriend.

To be honest, Roi Et isn't far from Maha Sarakham and there is a nice mall there. Other than that, I'd rather go to Khon Kaen for almost anything else.

Has anybody noticed that this topic is almost 12 years old?
The real question is, has anything changed in Roi Et in the past 12 years? ????

Probably would have joined the Air Force and stayed in for as long as possible.

The word of mouth and buzz around Bitcoin amongst the general public has died down, not as many suckers buying high and selling low.

FWIW I've never heard of the NEXT branding.

12th gen intel processors are huge improvements over the 11th gen, the 13th gen leaks are suggesting its a minor upgrade. Best time to buy would be this time next year if you can wait (June 2023). Staying a year behind the curve saves you like 50% of the price of a new computer or component. I know I am waiting, as they are currently closing out the 11th gen stuff at huge discounts, but the 12th gen is a 30%+ improvement over the 11th gen.

Was the lure of young women to great to wait a few more years to shore up their finances?
For many it was the women, alcohol, and party life that was too much to resist. I see grown men in Pattaya acting like they're in their 20's again getting smashed every night, nothing wrong with that of course it's their life, just some people never grow out of it and wonder why they're skint.

I would say that Thailand isn't for everyone. It has a lot of flaws that some people are willing to overlook in exchange for the company of women, warm weather, and cheaper cost of living, but it is by no means perfect, it is far from it in many ways. If you have money to live comfortably in a Western country I think the quality of life is actually better overall, but that is going to depend on your priorities and what's most important to you.

It's just a label, it doesn't mean it's not real. Same with anything in the world, you may not agree with it or like it, but that's not a pre-requisite.

I wouldn't invest in Thailand, invest elsewhere. Condos take forever to resell and no one wants older projects except Westerners which have demographically been on the decline for years in Thailand.
Keen investors will realize Asians and Indians want to buy NEW, they are not interested in old inventory. Buying off-plan and reselling contracts closer to completion is the quickest way to profit, but this is high risk as many projects never get off the ground or fold after running into problems.

This is going to take a long time to build, if it ever completes. The super highway connecting throughout Isaan still isn't done years later...

Thailand is hands down the most shallow, materialistic place I have ever seen.
Yeah pretty much, money is worshiped these days.

I see flights from the US for $900 round trip, short 1 stop layover, nearly a perfect flight at that.

Looks pretty average to me, far prettier office ladies around Bangkok nearly any time of day.

For good reason, it's a great country to visit with far less red tape and double-standards than Thailand at the moment!

Where are you buying chicken thighs/legs for $1 per pound? I'll alert my relatives so they can go buy it all.
Kroger (Fred Meyer) has it all the time. Sometimes drops down to .89 cents a pound when it's on sale.

Chicken is often $1 a lb. here in the US for the dark meat (thighs/legs), which is about $2 for a kg. That is surprising.

Even that seems pretty high, I can't imagine what I would spend that much money on in Thailand.
