I've seen some people on facebook who applied for ED that were told just to come back next week as their application hadn't been considered in time, and not get any kind of stamp, but that sounds just about as dodgy as what I was told today about applying for an embassy extension.. 

One suggestion in future is have a Livestream (Youtube) and record accordingly whatever verbally spoken between both parties to avoid situations like these. I did that but was given a tongue lashing nstead. I told the Official to keep his hands off my camera and would not hesitate to report him to the PM Office. he reluctantly did as told, despite having to put up with my arrogance....LOL. Deputy government spokesperson Traisuree Taisaranakul said on Tuesday (September 15) that the Cabinet has agreed to allow foreigners to live in Thailand for up to nine months per trip, provided they can prove they have spent 14 days in quarantine.

The first visit will allow 90 days of stay, which can then be extended twice totalling nine months.

This measure will start from next month, and up to 1,200 tourists per month will be granted this extended visa.
