I made a land border crossing back in 2013 and went to Poipet with basically my luggage and a smile and managed to get a visa on arrival with my cash and waiting 30 minutes or so. I'm doing my first entry into Pong Nam Raw from Pattaya to do a visa renew and after that I will be eligible for my retirement visa which I wioll not need to worry about this stuff atleast not monthly anyway. My question is can I show up at the Border a day before my visa is due and walk up with the smile and cash and get entry or do I need to make my life easier with other options?
