Nakhon Ratchasima locks down entire village after Covid-positive woman hosts party to celebrate being freed from prison

Nakhon Ratchasima province on Wednesday prohibited all travel to and from Ban Pong Khok village in Serngsang district’s Nonsomboon subdistrict until July 20 after the district chief reported that three persons in a family tested positive for Covid-19, leading to fears of a new cluster with 36 people from 22 households being classified as high risk.

How do you "photocopy"these numbers?By putting your laptop onto a photocopying machine then hit print, then put the printed copy onto the scanner then convert the scanned data to a pdf and download on to a stick then download onto your laptop and post it?Would it not be quicker to just "cut and paste" it?

He probably could have done all that in the time it took to write that post.

    Hi,

Sorry to give you the same answer that you would no doubt have heard before, but not easy at all; initially lots of dead-ends, wasted time and money, etc. Plus of course a LOT of documentation.

However we eventually found the right contact in Pakse and they got it all done. Happy to send you more info on PM,

Mine is from Xam Neua. We got married in HK and did marriage certs there. Then stamped and translated by the Lao consulate  in HK and then finally stamped by the authorities in Laos.

Thailand’s third wave of Covid-19 has reached its peak and should gradually decline over the next week or two, according to Disease Control Department chief

Dr Opas Karnkawinpong. On Thursday he credited the public for cooperating to control the latest outbreak, which has spawned more than 1,000 cases per day over the past week.

However, pubs, bars, parties were still adding to the daily caseload despite the government order to close entertainment venues and ban parties, he warned. People who were organising events that resulted in infections and quarantining should be punished according to the law, he added.

    C. Privy to something we don’t know (e.g. they know they have to get creative with the numbers soon if they want to open up fully in October).
