  1. Received a 2nd notice 2 days ago. Never received the 1st notice. Mailed 2nd notice 1st class international mail for a butt-kicking 325 baht. Has happened before ~ 5 years ago.
  2. Bought an elliptical trainer for my wife and I've been using it 5 days a week. Seems to help my "bad" knee alot. Better than walking in the park. Check it out.
  3. Over pressure on m/c tires is a common habit in thailand. I never trust a service pressuring my tires. Inflate yourself is my suggestion.

    Tailor in Udon Thani

Hey, thanks alot. I'll check him out.
  5. As the title says anyone know of any tailors in Udon. Need some alterations made. Thanks in advance.
  6. That's what I thought also, but according to this Facebook???? news site that's the case. 50 sounds better, but ......
  7. Just heard from my wife that after 5 days of onsite teaching 500 out of 1000 school kids in Roi et have contracted covid. They are being quarantined in the school. So much for opening up!
  8. Received my second shot on Monday (9/13) in Udon Thani, and after the wait time of approximately 30 minutes all that were injected passed by tables where they gave you your "proof of injection" paper which has the 13 digit number. Was asked if I needed a "vaccine passport". In that case I needed to go to the local gov. hospital. For 50 Bt and 7-10 days latter a passport would be provided
  9. True, but in the case of a "bank" doing the exchange it is better using USD. BTW, using my credit union's standard ACH transfer rate charge ($45) it is better than Wise when transferring more than $10k.
  10. Whichever bank you choose DO NOT transfer money in baht as you will get a very low exchange rate. Transfer as US denomination and let your Thai bank convert to baht.
