  1. Looking to find quality lean ground turkey or lean minced beef. Lean ground turkey? Villa and others have minced beef but it doesn't say what % is fat, would love to know 80/20 or what contents.... Thank you
  2. Perfect thanks! This looks great, will definitely visit. Will probably update this thread in 1-2 months time after I've explored more in case anyone stumbles upon it 2-3 years later on Google...
  3. Moved around central world a few months ago from lower sukhumvit and haven't explored much around here tbh. What are some great places you recommend checking out? Anything from cafes, bakeries, restaurants to museums and so on - whatever you think is worth sharing. Have Googled and aware of the popular spots but looking to explore further. Thanks in advance!
  4. Updated my thread - forgot to mention the business is Thai-based.
  5. We run a lot of Facebook Ads and are looking to get points for our spend (or cashback, preferably points for international travel). Amex is no longer accepting biz/corporate clients but is personal-use cards only. What's the best business card For a THAI-REGISTERED Business ? Thanks
  6. In the US many brands put the "As Seen On" to add credibility to the brand. Such as Forbes, Entrepreneur, ABC, CBS etc... What is the equivalent of that in Thailand?
  7. There's two types of apartments I believe. 1) Through Official Residence Program (with benefits) 2) Private Ownership (20-30% cheaper) Last time I went to check it turned out to be through Magnolias residence (met with agent, and we toured the condos with the official employee of Magnolias). Units were 39-49 floor. They were asking 120k for the 108 sqm and 100k for 90 sqm, fully furnished which includes - 3x Cleaning a month - 3000 Baht worth of laundry - 4500 baht electricity (and then double what the government charges after) + Waldorf Astoria room service (not sure if exclusive for resident program... but anyways I imagine their room service is pricey... just get Grab) HOWEVER checking on HipFlat/DD/etc there are plenty going for 30% cheaper so 70-80k would get you one with okay furnishing. IMHO doing it with independents is better than through residence program unless you really value paying that much extra for those benefits.
  8. Yep different choices. And to clarify (I know you didn't mean it personally): I'm defo concious of my neighbors and any loud music/shouting/rudeness/disrespect to the building is not permitted in my home. Would report it too if my neighbors made noise. AirBnB places are the worst in Bangkok - if one's looking to sign a 1 year lease 10000% make sure you check if it's listed on airbnb/booking else it's going to be a nightmare with your lobby being packed with bags.
  9. Personally, I view it as a half expense, half investment type of thing. I spend 80% of my life working at home (love working) so having a nice place (open, clean, nice view, spacious) is something I really value a lot as a lot of my life is spent here. The other 20% is at the gym (good one at this condo), restaurants/cafes, and on weekends going out. In my mid 20s and I sometimes do have "afterparties" (not big ones, more like drinks at my place rather than "party"... just whoever is in the group at the night) which has had tremendous value in expanding my social circle here (for both, personal & business). Nothing is confirmed with Magnolias yet - still checking other options as there may be better ones.
  10. 2 Bedroom. Negotiating & deciding between their ~90sqm and ~108sqm (all 3 potential condos facing Ratchmari Rd) The 108sqm has a separate kitchen while the smaller one has the kitchen combined with the living room. The 2nd bedroom will be converted into a home office where most of my time is spent so not too worried about having a separate kitchen - foodpanda/grab is a daily anyways ????
  11. *Note: Obviously will consult with an attorney if we proceed, we're still doing research* We have a customer list (no Line contact info) from our ecommerce store. Would we be able to SMS all buyers asking if they could leave us a review? Perhaps also offer them an upgrade on their order? For SMS Marketing I read they have to specifically consent to SMS Marketing (which would be the upgrade offer above) and it seems in most countries this is pretty strict.
  12. I see why some would not like it. Can feel like a hotel, seemed quite busy etc. Not finalized anything still hunting near by but it's my top choice (& happy choice).
  13. Ha I don't think it'll ever come to owning a car in Bangkok, Grab is cheap although there are times a car would be nice. Motorbike sure, although probably not ... yet. Condo is the Magnolias condo btw. Very nice, offer owner rental & residence programs. Thanks for all the answers - much appreciated. Yes, it seems to be a great area considering everything. Central, nice sidewalks, clean, everything is super close. Only downside would be the protests, but it's worth the trade-off imo.
  14. Yah it's horrible, first the emporium/emquartier congestion and then the crazy asok congestion. If traffic is less worse than phrom phong than that answers the question.
  15. Oh now I'm excited it ???? It is my fave part of town and I lived in Chitlom a while ago (but not sukhumvit) but don't remember what traffic was like on sukhumvit - but seems you didn't mind it. Is traffic bad day-time wise? (not rush hour) The building is just before Mahadlek Luang - maybe can even enter through Mahadlek not sure (Magnolias)
  16. Fair question. Because Phrom Phong and many other areas are not way behind in terms of those facilities. If traffic is extra horrible & will affect daily life & movement, accepting 8/10 facilities is better than accepting 10/10 facilities.
  17. My lease expires soon (Phromg Phong) and have to find a new condo. Found one next to Centralworld. Specifically Ratchadamri Rd - 30 second walk from the shrine. Work remotely. I like to go out, daily food delivery/restaurants, shopping which around there is perfect.. Is it smart or stupid? My biggest worry is the traffic. Weekends for nightlife I to go to Asok/Nana/Thonglor a lot but nighttime traffic isn't too bad. Thanks
  18. Let's be real... if a person is already paying $500 for a ticket, it's not like paying $510 over $500 is going to change their mind about a trip to Thailand.
  19. What time does Chinatown close today?
  20. Planning to fly to Samui from Bkk. As I understand you just need proof of vaccination right? And can it be recent or has to be a specific time? Thanks
  21. So what really happens to farang who get "prosecuted" - kick out of country or just pay fine?
  22. Ask a qualified doctor, not a bunch of random usernames online
  23. Rarely eat McDonalds but whenever I had a Big Mac in the US it was so good. In Thailand the buns were very dry and overall felt like a 'cheaper' version. Maybe I have to try ordering one during the day rather than later in the evening.... now that I think of it. Oh if only Chipotle opened up in Thailand, that'd be P-E-R-F-E-C-T.
