  1. I am very sure he does not want to do it. After the last election he quit as leader of his own party. Likes telling the big story but not the graft that goes with it.
  2. All about self-importance: "others are there to serve me". Carry-on luggage is usually specifically limited to ~ 7kgs, yet how often do you see people struggling to get 20-25kgs bags into the overhead locker ? If these people were abusive to staff and caused flight delay inconveniencing others then they will presumably be black-listed by the airline. A per-kilo excess luggage charge should also be collected. Maybe this way they will learn some manners.
  3. "The cost of an adult jumbo 48-page passport is 11,000 THB" > This is no jumbo: why was the 72-page passport never reinstated ? It was always claimed that the UK passport had to be a smaller size under European Law. Now, post-Brexit, we discover that was also a deception. 48 pages are simply too few for anyone renewing visas and travelling frequently.
  4. If the main concerned is about new cases and fatalities why did they do nothing to restrict travel over Songkran ?
  5. Nothing very high-flying recently about THB, which has been trading weak (but not necessarily against GBP and EUR, which have their own problems). Should certainly go weaker on high oil price.
  6. The price of oil tells you the world needs more production now. Sadly US infrastructure has been closed down and permits to drill on federal land are being withheld. At the same time in Germany: atomkraft - nein danke. The energy security of the West has been sacrificed to the green agenda.
  7. Last week I tried a walk-in at Medpark (where I also received the first 2 doses) as their online registration is closed. Failed: I was told to go to Bangsue. However it is unclear whether Bangsue will give boosters to those who obtained their first doses elsewhere.
  8. It is right to do what we can to reduce pollution but you cannot reverse the forces of nature. Global warming is not a man-made phenomenon as the greenies want you to believe. Our well-intentioned efforts yield little overall benefit (particularly while China, India, U.S. and others still continue to pollute). Please inform us when they have found a way to stop volcanoes erupting.
  9. Let's see what the requirements of Thailand Pass will be. If it includes ludicrously overpriced insurance or compulsory ASQ forget it.
  10. Thailand is only properly open when the onerous CoE requirements are lifted.
  11. It seems Ivermectin has worked for some and I personally know of a case in Thailand where someone recovered from being very sick with covid-19 after taking the drug. I am not giving medical advice: find your own solutions.
