Dear God,
Not this again.
Only thing that pink card has proven useful for is wasting a person's time. Really needs to be renamed Geezercard©
No government official has ever turned me away for lack of a pink card. If you showed it to a cop they would laugh. Seriously.
How long does it take to acquire this pink card? I have heard you need to jump thru a lot of hoops and donate your kidneys to get one. How onerous of an exercise is it?? The pandemic may be under control long before pink card is approved. Not much point for the 2 or 3 million foreigners who don't have a pink card.

Foreign embassy's do not need permission from the public health ministry to do anything within the confines of their embassy. Embassy staff were injected in the embassy, no permission required. US embassy has no plans to mass inject local expats, period!

Free vpns are risky and most security conscious would advise against using one and you especially should avoid Opera vpn when you have industry leading ExpressVPN.
FYI, i just tried Opera vpn and it connected, very good speed, no DNS leaks, etc so it works as intended at my end.
As for your AIS data connection: try switching vpn protocols between UDP and TCP, try Lightway, OpenVPN as well and see if you connect to ExpressVPN server. Keep in mind expressVPN's Thailand server is virtual location located in Singapore.

Sounds like you are a victim of a "phishing" scam and NOW your gmail account has been compromised.
Stop using GMAIL and use a secure email service that offers encryption and consider this a lesson learned in email security. Be advised gmail can and does READ ALL your emails. Why u think they are banned in China, they are spying on EVERYONE.

Very useful response to my question...well done!
What did you get?
Unless you can convince me there are 3.375B vaccine eligible adult indians, then you would be close in your guesstimate. But in reality India's population is approx 1.35B and of that, there are approx 1.0B that are 18 or older. Simple arithmetic tells me its more like 23 months.

India has been producing 90 million doses / month.
Would that require 75 months to achieve 100% vaccination of adults in India? (Or is my math suspect?) Not acceptable.
Here is my source.
I suggest you calibrate your abacus, calculator, etc or perhaps consider using one.

Far enough out in the Boondocks that it will be inaccessible for the many farangs living near the beach who don't have their own transport and depend on Baht Buses to get around. I should have thought that PEACH would have been a better location, at least for the Bright Side population. Makes no difference to me, just thinking of my fellow expats, some of whom don't have their own wheels.
When the article mentions pattaya "residents" that may be only for thai residents only; no farangs.

I'm willing to bet traffic infractions, motorcycles operated by children, and others w/o helmets, no training, no license, zero experience, road knowledge and common sense, etc and the resulting tragedies FAR EXCEED covid related deaths but not much is done to address traffic fatalities in Thailand.
Covid mask enforcement, don't be duped, Thai authorities are spouting hyperbole & nonsense as per norm.

I am sure I read that only tourists with a covid vaccine will be exempt (starting Oct 01) from an otherwise mandatory quarantine. Also, quarantine will be reduced to 10 days starting April 01.
I was close to getting vaccinated this week but they cancelled me in the queue on Wednesday afternoon.
