Agent recommendation Pattaya
MrJ2U replied to neytil's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Sounds good. Simple questions and answers. They don't want to be recorded or have some Facebook post showing the "secrets of the trade and how they can do it". Interesting you don't know where your agents office is. Be nice to know if he does a runner or your unable to contact him. -
Do you have a picture? If its load bearinging a crack can be very serious. You'll need to have an expert take a look and work out an arrangement with the seller. If its not a problem the seller should pay to have the crack repaired, sealed, and painted. Looking at a crack on ones house is unsettling even if its just cosmetic.

Anutin latest: Praises himself to the skies for saving Thailand
MrJ2U replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News Headlines
Polls show a different picture. Eventually I think he'll eventually be living next door to Thaksin. -
I can't get an SMS. My cell number doesn't correspond with the place I got my Pfeizer shot. I can't register on the app. I ended up getting the yellow vaccine book. Took a week, cost .50 baht. Recognized for International travel.

Honestly a no brainer. Hotels, pandemic, time waisted. Agents can do everything. I don't think its much cheaper to even do it yourself. Having a business relationship with your agent over the years can help many problems that may arise in the future also.

For some its just out of their financial picture. For many it's the cost of doing business to get to where you want to be. Seeing family, girlfriends,or just stunning Thai freelansers can sometimes trump the initial price gouging. The biggest problem is testing positive and being forced into an extremely pricey public hospital.

Oil droplets washed ashore on Ao Prao beach on Samet Island
MrJ2U replied to snoop1130's topic in Eastern Thailand
"Although dispersant reduces the amount of oil that lands ashore, it may allow faster, deeper penetration of oil into coastal terrain, where it is not easily biodegraded.[4]" https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oil_dispersants -
Constituency 9 voters: Don’t count on us to be “accountable”

They we're never far from the bottom of the cesspool of politics in regards to 90% of Thai's. Probably the most inept and corrupt Junta to rule Thailand. -

Opinion: The government should push N95 masks
MrJ2U replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News Headlines
Way to expensive for the average Thai let alone hospital staff. Rarely seen staff wearing them in hospitals. And when the weather gets hot it's freaking uncomfortable despite the extra safety. After 15 minutes its soaking wet with sweat. A lot of the usual price gouging going on. -
Krabi refuses permit to shoot “Meg 2” movie on its beaches in April and May
MrJ2U replied to snoop1130's topic in Krabi News
Definitely something to do. Our last visit the place was dead. We looked forward to a visit at the few open 7/11's and delapidated Big C. Like Kotsak mentioned the officials want some kickbacks and a few starring roles for their Mia Noi's.
