Does this show the live Formula 1 Grand Prix?

Nope, F1 Grand Prix is on Fox Sports. Incidentally you can get both Bein Sports 1 & 2, plus Foxsports and Foxsports 2 & 3 through AIS Play premium package, which is just 249THB per month!!!

  2. I think it is about where your thoughts go, when drinking.

I have now been off it for 14 months, previous to that just over 12 months and prior to that 5 & 1/2 months.

My state of thought processing is far better.

I had some friends here from UK and they wanted to go Nana. One commented how a lot of guys down there seemed lost in their own world, eyes glazed over.... That precisely how I felt at the end of my drinking career. In some ways I was a little jealous that they could drink with seeming impunity and not let it get to them, mentally. For me the 1st drink unleashes the anchor and away I go, spinning thoughts and what could have beens through my head. Now I have peace of mind and have learnt to let go!

whether you are drinking, cutting down, or in the process of quitting I hope you are all doing well!

  3. Hi Corkman.

Joining a good HIIT / Crossfit gym is an integral part to cutting down or even stopping drinking.

The more you mix with people of a more healthy mindset the bigger chance you give yourself. I found the dopamine hit I used to get off partying and alcoholic type drinking is now replaced ten fold with long distance running (5km - 10km around Lumpini, Benjasiri or Benjakitti park) or circuit training with Aspire, F45, Base or The Lab gyms. You'll sleep loads better too.

One wise man said to me not long ago, the thing about alcoholism is this. It gets progressively worse or progressively better. I am happy that I will celebrate 1 year sober next Monday and I am so pleased the days of spending vast amounts of money on bar bills or replacing lost phones or other scrapes are a thing of the past!

Take care and be good to yourself! Su Su!

Bein's existing 6 channels on Truevisions are to be pulled from 10 August. A pity that we'll no longer be able to watch FA Cup games without subscribing to an alternative internet service, of course, but, other than for those particular games, I doubt whether I'll personally miss Bein all that much.

529THB for a year. Decent deal. La Liga has some games worth watching

  5. Where is the 7 day catch up option?

They do, using the TrueID TV app. It's worked like that for a while now and I have no reason to think it wouldn't continue. I did notice that the 7-day catch up option for the beIN Sports channels stopped within the last couple of weeks but it's still there for all the True Sports channels.

  6. 6 channels plenty. 10 games are only at same time on last day. They will just take over normal entertainment channels for that.

2 Bein sports channels were in SD on a Saturday. ch 695 and 696.

True not released package yet. I fully expect an increase to current super soccer deal. To justify that, they really need to do a deal with DAZN for champions league. That being said, UCL been free on Youtube recently, so who cares.

  7. Hi,

So I have left my place of work by mutual consent.

My company have paid me until Jan 2019. But have said they want to cxl my visa and work permit on 30th November. They currently hold my w.p.

The reason for cxl on 30th November is apparently due to tax reasons. However in the 4mth payoff I received they haven't deducted any tax.

My visa (extension of stay) runs until 5th Jan 2019. I do not have to do any more 90 day reports, as I last entered Thailand 19th October, following a private business trip.

So my question  is.... Is it true about the tax payments from my salary being linked to cxl of a workers visa? I find it odd that they gave this as a reason for cxl my visa before the end of my contract and then not deduct any income tax in the pay off. Previously tax was deducted as usual on a monthly basis in the payroll.

Secondly could I just play hard ball and insist I keep my visa until 5th January 2019, or could they cxl it without me attending immigration?

This whole issue has been quite stressful. So if anyone has any genuine advice I would appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance.
