  1. They'd have to massage the daily figure first -- oh, hang on................
  2. Me too -- my 4th (2nd booster). so nice and efficient (even with my non existent Thai). Sadly that was 2 weeks ago and they were in their last 5 days at MBK Centre with no idea of where they were going next.
  3. Asking for a friend (really). If working online from home in Thailand, is a work permit necessary and to declare foreign earnings (paid abroad)?
  4. Don' you also have to nominate someone as an executor?
  5. Obviously written by one who has never tried to communicate with Bangkok Post.
  6. Why do I keep getting Bangkok Post's march 25th's postbag and not current? I think I've cleared all caches already.
  7. And what if your taxi driver is positive and you are confined in a small space with him for hours?
  8. Still printing the numerical value bottom right! No thought has gone into the design of latest notes (for a few years now !!). I have to put upside down in my wallet to see the value IN POOR LIGHT without withdrawing fully from the wallet.
  9. Thanks Crossy, I've now ordered an antenna (160 Baht) that Dave recommends. Let's see if my area is too congested or not..
  10. Thanks Gordon. Looks really good but I fear only Pattaya -- I've contacted them anyway (I'm central Bangkok - Phrom Phong).
  11. Thanks Dave. So cheap (160 Baht at Lazada) I've ordered one to try anyway. It looks as though times have changed from when I had to stand at strange angles in the living room holding a wire coat hanger.
  12. Thanks so much. I'll have a look at that.
  13. I am in central Bangkok. I have 2 TRUE boxes and GOLD packages simply so that my Thai friend can view Thai 'free to air ' channels. This is way over the top (2,200 Baht per month)! Is there a similar service to 'TeatimeTV' for Thai channels? How do most Thai people view their TV -- surely not all use True. I have no opportunity of erecting an outside antenna or dish and I don't suppose a wire coat hanger will do these days????.
  14. I've always been more than pleased with them. Their support is excellent -- replies within hours or minutes. for example, twice I had problems with my Android box and sent it to them and they fixed it for free. Completely different question -- I also have 2 TRUE boxes and GOLD packages simply so that my Thai friend can view Thai 'free to air ' channels. This is way over the top! Is there a similar service to Teatime for Thai channels? How do most Thai people view their TV -- surely not all use True.
