Sure but that adage is usually to work the other way around: "Justice delayed is justice denied" is a legal maxim. It means that if legal redress or equitable relief to an injured party is available, but is not forthcoming in a timely fashion, it is effectively the same as having no remedy at all. For me, the prospect of whether Trump gets convicted or not for any of these actual or possible criminal or civil charges extent P-A-L-E-S against the notion of Trump again being elected President in 2024.

And as in the linked article, much of these ideas are not new or conjured by Trump, some date back to even President Reagan -- the Conservative think tanks et al have just been waiting for the proper vessel to come along.
