  1. Steven. I have been a commercial manager in IBM for many years and have a masters in accounting and finance. Part of my job is to keep contracts running and looking at the current county’s situation with my contracts. I have contracts worth multi millions and I happily run them each year. I find your responses somewhat small fry, as I love to read daily reports of most countries. Especially Turkey that is also going tits up at the moment. But hey, you are just a NAME on this forum and have no background knowledge of the person behind it. I stand by my claim of -2.5 to -2.6% retraction of the economy this year 2021 in Thailand. regards Ben
  2. Ryt9.com/en/trsn/251092. +3.5 to -3.5% as an aggregate average, this equate to -2.6% in 2021. But, I am not doing anymore homework for you. You need to start looking for yourself if you are a journalist!!
  3. It is clear to see with worldometer to keep the trend rising and over 30k+ in 12 days time. looking at Europe and the UK, plus the USA on worldometer and how their cases rose exponentially in the historical data, is clear to see and calculate. This isn’t fake news, it is a forecast on previous country’s data and Thailand’s current data. Just to make sure and numbers have not been wrong on historical data of Europe, UK, and the USA . However, what is a primary factor to the reporting, is if the country still submits valid and real data, and that are still enough PCR tests to keep testing in Thailand.
  4. Hi Steven. thanks for the links. To start with Thailand’s economy retracted -6.1% in 2020. source world bank. https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/NY.GDP.MKTP.KD.ZG?locations=TH second, Bloomberg continues to see reduced GDP and it is only getting worse with forecasts. https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/thailand-s-lockdown-like-virus-curbs-dent-economic-recovery-bets-1.1627674.amp.html So Steven, I have included links for you. The kpmg report of up to -2.6% GDP again this year I am still looking for again. I hope this has made you happier you have valid links. regards ben
  5. The irony is that Atchariya Reuangrattanapong has used cha cha’s new law of Fake News against the people cha cha is trying to protect, ‘the government.’ This is a double whammy sting of a clever man turning this new emergency law back into their faces. Bang on. Bring more of them! A+++ as far as I am concerned.
  6. Thailand is only now trying to sign up to COVAX. Because they didn’t want to sign up to the free system, as they thought the AZ factory would be sufficient. They didn’t want something that they couldn’t make money from on the side !! You cannot fleece free things !!
  7. As I said yesterday. with the exponential rise of cases daily, within two weeks Thailand will be in the 30,000+ per day, if they have enough PCR test kits, and if all the figures are added daily. The graph supplied daily (above) in this article shows the current rise and is possible to calculate if the current trend keeps rising. It is also quite funny to see mitigating circumstances of prisoners to show that they are added separately. I wonder what other group will be added soon to mitigate the numbers further of non-important numbers?
  8. Certainly. you only need to google Q2 2021 figures. Kpmg, Reuters, HSBC, will all give similar figures of -2.5% GDP for 2021 in Thailand.
