  1. Then have them delivered ? does anyone has done that before ? does Thai border control make you pay an extra tax ?
  2. Where can I get western standard glasses in Thailand? I tryed several shops, like top charoen and another one that I can’t remember the name and I received low quality glasses. I couldn’t see clearly and I don’t have a complicated eyesight issue. Maybe in Bangkok ?
  3. It took about 10 days with a visa issuing company in France. The evisa webpage had too many requirements. My TR single entry visa cost me about 300€ insurance included.
  4. @OJAS I checked the 3 documents you mention. The first 2 are not necessary for French citizens only the third is mandatory as said on the foreign ministry’s website. I think though many French people are returning from abroad and classified as risky ( orange on their map ) countries without this paper. There must be somewhere in CDG ( Paris )airport where you can fill up this paper
  5. Oh ! thank you @OJAS You’re giving me a precious information, I didn’t know about the sworn statement document when coming back from Thailand.
  6. They also ask for a 100 000 $ insurance
  7. The Paris embassy changed the requirements on their website. They now say that you don’t need ASQ or SHA+ booking for a tourist visa but the evisa website is still asking for it.
  8. I just checked the Paris Thai embassy website for the requirements for the tourist visa and it says I need proof of booking of ASQ or SHA+ so I will try again in the beginning of may.
  9. I already booked the flights for my family and I and I am wondering if the Thai evisa website isn’t asking me if I’m vaccinated for my visa because we have a stopover in Saudi Arabia. I was just asking if someone has information that before the beginning of July I could enter Thailand like I used before Covid.
  10. By Thailand pass webpage I meant Thailand evisa webpage https://www.thaievisa.go.th/
  11. Hello, We booked the tickets to fly to Thailand in July. I’m French and we will stay there 58 days. Can I enter Thailand without a visa and have 30 extra days at Pattaya immigration office ? Thailand pass webpage is asking me for ASQ booking the page may be updated soon though.
  12. On my experience I won’t have glasses made in Thailand again. I did it 2 times, first time at a top charoen pattaya tai, with an ophthalmologist prescription. As far as I remember glasses were cheap, about 3000 B. In the end glasses were uncomfortable to see with, I went to the shop to tell her and she told me everything was fine, I just had to get used to them. Next time I went to France I had new glasses made. I tried a second time in the shop in front of the doughnut shop big c pattaya tai ground floor. I thought, maybe it was top charoen and I could have nice fashionable glasses for again 3000 B. I had a doctors prescription. The same thing happened, no problem with the frame, but the lenses were uncomfortable to wear. I think they have low quality lens production.
  13. Try to buy it from a farang, for 2 reasons: -you will spot better a farang trying to scam you. - a farang selling his stuff is open to negociation.
