  1. A Raspberry Pi, old Android TV Box, even a computer will work. If you wanna share USB over LAN it's pretty easy using USB Redirector (free) or FlexiHub (paid). (or similar apps in Android) If you wanna share USB over the Internet, use Hamachi or similar to create a VPN with whomever you want to share the USB + USB Redirector (or Flexihub) and it will work just as good (albeit slower).
  2. I give you a challenge, try to read your post out loud without bursting in laughter… So you’re trying to tell us that a 23, or 25, 30,35… year old guy with a 20 year old prostitute is the same as an 80 year old guy with a 20 year old prostitute? ???? You are right, it isn’t about race or religion. It doesn’t matter if it’s a white, a latino, a black, an asian or a Muslim. It makes no difference… Age, on the other hand makes all the difference. Hence why many western countries have legislation going on in the cases of old guy - young girl thingy. Aren’t there 40, 50, 60 year old prostituyes that would suit them better and won’t be as easily exploited just from the experience of the older guy? Why it always has to be girls that look like their great granddaughters? Prostitution is already in itself quite degenerate regardless of your age. But chasing girls 40 years younger than you, should be considered mental illness… Its not hate towards old people, far from it. But those things aren’t normal, anyone sensible can see it. Theres also tons of retired people here in Thailand, who live their life in a decent manner the way they would back home. Not every “old” person in Thailand chases young girls, and so I can only hope the very best for those and wish that they had a nice life here in Thailand But the ones who come to Thailand because they love sex with young girls,… I don’t dare to write what I hope for those…
  3. My post was obviously not gonna go well in this forum, but it is what it is. Go to other tourist destinations, in the western world, like Spain or France maybe. Will you see the amount of girls specially young girls with 80 year old farangs that you see here in Thailand? Is it that Thai women are very open towards prostitution while farang women are not? Nah, you have to be very naive to believe that… Those girls hate what they do, it disgusts them to the bottom and deep inside they’re only hoping for the farang they’re with to kick it ASAP so that they can hopefully get some of his money… Yes in Thailand you will always have something to eat, and you could live in the temple. But that’s like saying that in the UK you could always go to social services or some charity. Does anyone really wish to live like this? Also not every Thai girl has a farmer family that they can go and happily live with farming rice… At the end of the day, in the West a prostitute shall she choose not to continue doing that job, she will be able to find a decent job, sure enough salary will be pretty low, but enough to somewhat live. In Thailand on the other hand they will have nothing. And for many of those young girls the pressure of having to send money to heir family at month’s end is enough to pressure them into prostitution. I presume you are one of those prostitution users here in Thailand, so to ease off pressure from your conscience you fool yourself thinking that life for these girls is wonderful and colorful, and that they choose to do this because they like it or like you…. But that’s just far from the truth and it is a lame excuse to try and justify the human degeneration that many farang show in here.
  4. And how about their cousin John Taylor from Microsoft Tech Support speaking with the most Indian accent ever?
  5. Well when it comes to the underage thing, it’s really hard to tell, so that’s why I said probably. I would hope that that’s not the case, and that despite being probably 50-60 years younger than the one they are “together” with, at the very least, the girls are not underage. I know it’s not very related to this topic, but I am of the opinion that prostitution should be something a girl chooses because she freely wants to, provided she has other options… In the case of Thailand, many girls are forced into the job, not particularly by anobody, but by the conditions. It’s either prostitution or poverty and living in the streets. And so yes, I see those farangs, specially the old ones that get extremely young girls and take advantage of their situation just for their sexual please as not much less than devils… Hence I want them far far away from me.
  6. I don't ignore other farangs because they may ask to borrow money from me - I'd refuse them anyway. If some farangs says 'hello', or 'good bye' to me I will reply back - but that's about it. If they get nagging I will just talk to them in my own language and pretend "I no speak English".... Why? Because 75% of the farangs in Thailand are not the kind of people I would want to be friends with, or even talk to. You go to Pattaya, and you will see several farang well into their 80s hugging and kissing girls that could very well be their great granddaughters... Do I wanna talk to them? Hell no, I don't even wanna acknowledge them. Just in case they infect me and I become a degenerate like them. Others are just con artists, drug addicts, sex addicts, the list goes on... Let's face it boys, Thailand frequently manages to attract the "very best" from farangland.... The sort of people that will bring nothing in positive into your life, and heaps of trouble... ... So you're better off "social distancing" from them forever. Obviously, standing out from the sort of farangs I've described before, albeit a minority, you will find farangs, which are here because of work, or because they married, or because they own company, in other words, normal people with noble reasons to be in Thailand, not because of cheap sex with extremely young girls (sometimes probably underage).... You'll eventually find and befriend these sort of farangs, just they probably won't approach you in the streets or in bars...
  7. Couldn't agree more, poor people can't afford it. That's why I said relatively poor in the sense that they are cheap enough to care about 200 extra THB when visiting a national park, but relatively well off enough to burn a couple thousands in Nana prostitutes from time to time. Generally pensioners which have not much more than their pension and live day to day from it, they sort of hate Thailand, they can't stand Thai men, and they're only here because of the cheap sex. Outside of the group I described above, you seldomly hear anybody moaning about dual pricing. In fact, I am yet to meet a farang in real life and hear him moan about it. I only hear such things in this forum; which for some odd reason seems to appeal to many of those in that group of people.... ????‍♂️
  8. Out of a bunch of decent well off farangs, not sexpats, I am yet to hear one of them complain about dual pricing. You only hear it from the typical rather fat, old, relatively poor sexpats, the ones that sit outside 7-11s drinking beer waiting for the night to fall and go to Nana to find some "love"... Makes you wonder why, but again it seems a bit stupid to me that they burn thousands in prositutes, yet moan like crybabies about a few hundreds in "dual pricing".... Clearly something wrong with them minds.
  9. That's not what I see from the company in which my wife works as HR manager. She, as a foreigner won't get the visa / work permit if she doesn't pay her income tax. And the Thai employees (which there are over 2,000 of them) pay income tax as well, or they'll get fired. I still believe that's a barstool argument, regardless of what John J. Brandon says, he may have been high that day while writing the article...
  10. That's no more than a barstool argument. I highly doubt you have any data to back up your claim...
  11. Go ahead and dual price me 10x if you want, Thailand. I don't mind paying an extra 96% when I go to hospital, that's gonna turn a $30 USD bill into a $58.8 .... Hell maybe that breaks the bank and I can't afford food for the rest of the month. ???? Bottom line is, as an expat whose main source of income is from overseas, no dual pricing or ten times pricing even will ever come close to what I am saving by not having to pay tax on Thailand compared to what I would have to pay just about everywhere else (Europe, USA)... You can't expect to come Thailand, pay no tax except for VAT and then use and enjoy the infrastructures that the governments builds with taxpayers money (be it national parks, roads, hospitals). And if you do pay taxes in Thailand, you can get the pink ID Card (or work permit) and in most cases they will levy the dual pricing for you.... And you'll also get the social security for health care.... So, sorry if it hurts you to read these lines, but I see those who b**tch about dual pricing everyday as a sort of cheeky devils who want it all. Cheap food, cheap living, cheap sex, no taxes, and no dual pricing. Is it a coincidence that ones that complain most about dual pricing tend to be the sexpats?
  12. The problem with this is you never know who the other person is, how much money he has, etc.. If you are gonna do that, better off paying some Thai guys and making sure you are far away by the time they do it. If you go and beat him up yourself, or damage his car, or in other words start a war, depending on who he is and/or how much money he has, it's likely some Thais may show up driving a motorcycle in your driveway and give you some "hot lead"... I highly doubt in this desperate COVID times you can't find some random Thais (or even farang) willing to run that "errand" for you in exchange for X amount of money.... Remember this quote by Sun Tzu: Do not start an unecessary war with someone you don't know, sometimes it's just better to walk away than to start a war you are not sure you can win. As much as wars, insults, and even death threats are frequent in online places like this forum, and to some extent they are fun. The real world is a whole different story, and people get killed daily over the most trivial and stupid of fights, and no matter how tough you think you are, you will ultimately come across someone tougher. So don't become a statistic. Same goes for that troubling neighbour, it is only time til he runs into a bigger thug of a neighbout than he himself is, then he may get a nice beating or worse... Big fish eats small fish - so don't be a fish.
  13. That's bull... They owe 300 Billion dollars, sure. But do you know how much in assets they have? If the CPC bails them out, they would lose nothing, provided the CPC controls the economy in which Evergrande operates... it would be like a dad buying his son's company so to speak.... at the end of the day the money stays within the family. And so do the assets, if Evergrande manages to finish all the projects they have ongoing (which are already sold btw), their total assets will for sure offset the debts by far, and even if they don't finish them, probably their already finished and working like a charm assets are still enough to offset those debts (football stadiums, shopping malls, condos, ...) Evergrande has a big cash liquidity problem, which the CPC can and will solve by bailing them out, and taking control of Evergrande, and probably making the former directives pay for what they've done (jail)... There is nothing much to worry about, this is not Lehman Brothers... You would only need to worry about this if you had invested in one of Evergrande's real estate projects. Far more worrying to the Western world, is the coal shortage and thus power problem China is suffering at the moment. Many factories just can't operate, and that WILL cause shortages and raise the prices of products in the West.
  14. You can buy western products from China.... Sometimes at the very same price as you would in the West. Example, last year I even bought my own iPhone 12 Pro from China (before it had even been released in Thailand) and imported it without paying any duties... Not only was it a bit cheaper than in Thailand, the version of the iPhone sold by Apple in China has physical Dual-SIM.... Just check Taobao, any western product you may like, you'll find it there. Most of the Taobao sellers would ship to Thailand; and if they don't you can use some Thai/Chinese freight forwarder which will provide an address in China (Guangzhou) for you to send the goods from Taobao to, and then they will bring them into Thailand.
