I said I thought I got it from a friend during dinner (in a BKK restaurant) if only because timeline fitted (first symptoms 4 days after that dinner, that friend had similar symptoms starting a day or two after the dinner although has always tested negative, and people are most infectious it seems a couple of days before symptoms start and a couple of days after). But maybe I got it from someone else like my wife, if she was an asymptomatic carrier etc. I think unlikely because she is paranoid about covid to extent of wearing a mask in the car when on her own ...
She tested negative twice with rapid kits and has never shown any symptoms. Can't say she was never infected because rapid test kits are not very good at picking up asymptomatic cases.
You may be on to something because there is talk about how the vax suppresses symptoms in folks who
don't realise they're infected, and still go about their business which spreads C19.

CNN hosts Fauci, Wallensky, Leana Wen and a whole bunch of others who issue
pronouncements. Then we find those statements are false and nothing is corrected.
They constantly carry on like all is well with the vax while heartbreaking stories of vax injury come to light almost every hour.
I think CNN's ratings prove how utterly poor they are at their job. People know.

No. But easy to get at animal feed stores.
But why would you do that when there is a version originally/specifically made for humans?

Here we have a false equivalence.
An error made during conducting good faith research is not the same thing as deliberately creating and then disseminating misinformation.
Note too the response to criticism of the research, withdrawal and investigation.
Not doubling down or ignoring.
as noted previously, when a "credible" source on the green list does it, it's false equiwhatever.

I think they are all in the dumpster for ratings. Fox too.
Personally I don't think people want 24 hour news.
3 bulletins a day is more than enough

is ivermectin sold in Thailand at the likes of Boots and the small chemists?
-
The pattern is to publish/broadcast a massive lie on the front page and create an absolute outrage.
Then get caught and three days later print a small retraction that no one sees.
And this is repeated on a loop.

I agree...one must only buy such liquids from trusted sellers. But Im well aware that is a challenge in Thailand as they are made in non sterile environments by less than stellar mixers. I have a friend in Pai who mixes his own.

Trust in media outlets dropped by almost 50% after Trump's relentless lies about them. Mostly among his base.
I don't think you can blame everything on the orange man. Was just looking at some viewership figures
for all the cable news channels. All of them struggle to notch up even a million vowers a week.
I would say it's the media's fault as they've been caught lying and making up stories. It's the cry wolf story being played out...just about no thinking person believes them after all the lies they have told.

Good to see progress being made on this front.
It's absolutely wrong to jail and fine vapers so heavily.
As long as strict quality standards are maintained vape liquids are
not any more dangerous than, say, cigarettes.
They shouldn't use Diketones and absolutely none of that illegal THC stuff please.

When The Lancet does it, it's a genuine mistake though. ????

I don't have a peer reviewed paper to back this but I think public trust in corporate media sources,
medical professionals, science figureheads and government officials is at an all-time low.
How do I know?
Just a wild guess.

Yeah but she got vaccinated and was presumably producing/shedding spike proteins at the time.
Or is shedding a myth?
Tricky stuff.
Anyway, here's a good read that clarifies how all these vaxes work....don't blame me for the
title I didn't write it. It's a great primer to understand how all this stuff works. I thought I would share.

OP said he got it from a friend.
Is it not possible he got it from his wife who had just completed the second course
2 weeks before OP got infected?
Or no, that never happens?

I think its a serious one this time....FB is not just on the blink...Im reading that some parts of their existence
(by way of DNS records) have been wiped from the Net. FB employees trying to enter the offices to check on problems cant get access as their pass cards aren't working...this is something more than your usual outage.
Maybe someone trying to teach them what it's like to be cancelled, just as they are so found of doing to others.

The Many Saints of Newark
Out there now on RARBG.
Summary: A look at the formative years of New Jersey gangster Tony Soprano.I felt compelled to watch this and came away disappointed. Young Tony didn't cut it...all the other amazing characters were caricatures...and they just had to create that woke whites hate blacks angle to stay relevant.
I did like the ending where the tv music came on while young Tony stares at the coffin...that was dope.

Check out this new Netflix documentary series called Vendetta: Truth, Lies and the Mafia
Interesting because there's not a mafia character in it....just a vendetta between two
anti-mafia characters who tussle against each other throughout....great stuff.

Brazil's tragic ivermectin frenzy is a warning to the US, experts say

These are low information people who buy the animal version and I feel sorry for them.
Ive never ever been asked for a prescription by any Thai chemist in Boots or the mom and pop
outfits...even tho I buy prescription meds... so this is news.
Re: Ivermectin effectiveness, no point getting into an argument about whether it works or not.
The responses vary depending on who you hear from....I like to hear from people who have actually taken
the correct version and dosage. Not interested in the views of media and "experts" as its never clear what their
ties are to Pharma.
