  1. My RT-PCR test was done 70 hours before my scheduled departure to Thailand (via Doha). Does anyone know what happens if there is a flight delay? Are the rules documented somewhere so that I can show them to the check-in agent at the Airport? Thanks!
  2. Thank you all for your replies! I'm going to listen to the wise words of mtls2005 and stay at the Airport! Regarding cheapcanuck's comments: Part of the reason I wanted to go into Doha is so that I could reduce my covid risk by being outdoors and avoid the cramped and overcrowded Doha Airport. I was there two weeks ago and 5 days ago, and it was packed!
  3. Thai Pass was approved and I’m scheduled to fly to Phuket. I will get a PCR test 70 hours before my departure. I transit in Doha for 8 hours after a 15-hour flight and would prefer to go into Doha and have dinner/explore than twiddle my thumbs at the airport. If I leave the airport do I run the risk that my PCR test is now 90+ hours old and therefore won’t be allowed back into the airport and to board the flight from Doha to Phuket? I should already have boarding passes for my second flight. If I stay in the terminal I know I won’t have any issues. Thanks.
  4. I submitted four applications for Thai Pass this morning (2 adults, 2 children) and received all four approvals within 15 min. I'm not sure if it mattered but I used different emails addresses for each application.
  5. This is very helpful, thank you. Please write back if you can to let us know if you get to escape after your PCR test results, or if you have to stay "one night".
  6. Section 4.1 and 4.2 are somewhat contradictory. What does "one day" mean (it's vague and confusing and subject to multiple interpretations)? I'm going to keep my thumb on 4.1 and show 4.2 to the hotel and hope I get an early release.
  7. Just want to confirm: I land at 06:30 and should be tested and at my hotel by 09:00. If my test results come back at 16:00 I still have to stay in my room until 06:00 the next day? What are the chances that I could be "let out early"?
  8. Yes. My vaccine certificate has a QR code from California. Now I have to do all this again for my family and my 2 kids have been vaccinated but don't have QR codes.
  9. I wanted to report back: I submitted my third Sandbox request (first two were rejected) and received approval 18 hours later. Note that my third application was exactly the same as my first two. Unfortunately, since my flight is in 4 days, I also submitted a Test and Go application and "forgot" to include my trip to Mexico last week. I received approval for my Sandbox application 2 minutes after I submitted my Test and Go application. Hopefully, they will not cancel my approved Sandbox due to this second inconsistent application. Good luck to everyone!!
  10. Anyone have any suggestions to get my Qatar airways flight information on one page in a jpg so I can submit to Thai Pass? Qatar has my flight information (without my name!) on one page and my name without the flight information on the other page. Thanks!
  11. I had a line from hotel that clearly stated prepaid incl. RT PCR test and my application was rejected because... I need to have note from my hotel that my reservation includes... prepaid RT PCR test... sigh...
  12. AAAARRRGGG! Just got rejected "Please upload paid hotel reservation confirmation that include RT-PCR test" My hotel reservation CLEARLY includes this and I paid for it. So frustrating!!! I've been applying for the Sandbox since I was just in Mexico but live in US. I'm tempted to just apply for the test and go and leave off the Mexico since I already have the 7 day hotel reservation in Bangkok and will stay in the sandbox.
  13. AXA insurance question: I was just rejected due to" Please re-submit insurance showing passenger name and medical coverage at least 50,000 USD" My AXA policy has 3 pages 1) Insurance Certificate in English 2) “The Schedule” Inbound Travel Insurance policy with the premium paid. 3) Receipt with the policy number, my name and the total paid. Can anyone please tell me which of these 3 forms I should submit? All this is very frustrating…
  14. I'm in the same boat. I printed all of the required documents and then took pictures with my phone to create the required JPG. Trying to decide if I'm better off submitting a second application or waiting patiently.
  15. California has a SMART Health Card which will enable you to generate an electronic record of your Covid vaccines including a QR code. Other states might have this too.
