  1. Many thanks. Does anyone happen to know if I need to supply a passport-sized photo (or any other documents/forms) for the 30-day extension of the visa waiver? Looking at this website there aren't any documents listed under Entry Stamp Extension.
  2. Many thanks @Stockyfor responding. For other's benefit, I managed to travel from Bangkok to Hat Yai as a tourist with minimal hassle. Nobody checked any of our COVID documentation (thailand pass, vaccination certificate) before, during or after the flight. Arriving at the Hat Yai Airport we had to complete the Songkhla Care registration. This can be done online even beforehand, but it's asking for identity verification using the Line app. I don't have Line installed, but there were 3 terminals at the airport where a kind lady will help you fill out a similar form (but in Thai language) that will generate the magic QR code which lets you exit the airport. Currently in Hat Yai, if anyone has any questions, happy to respond.
  3. I'm sure this has been asked before but wasn't able to find my answer using search, so apologies. As my Thai visa hasn't been processed in time, I entered the country on a visa-waiver with 30-day permit. A few days later I received the email confirmation for my 60-day TR visa. Do I need to do anything to be able to stay the 60 days? The stamp in my passport shows the 30-day end date. Many thanks.
  4. I'm a tourist who's been in Bangkok since 14 Nov. I'm double vaccinated and have a Thailand pass, Covid insurance, etc. Planning to fly to Hai Yai on the weekend. Do you happen to know if I need any extra paperwork to board the flight (eg. PCR test)? Will I need to quarantine in Hat Yai? Thanks.
  5. I just entered BKK on a visa waiver because of the eVisa platform issues. The Airline thoroughly investigated my <30day return flight that I booked with onwardflight.com, but they accepted it. Can I go straight away to request the 30-day extension, or do I need to wait until my current visa is close to expiring? Asking this because I happen to be in Bangkok and not sure where I'll be in 30 days (road trip).
  6. No solution yet sadly. This is old news now, but two days ago [email protected] replied to my email saying that the website has 'technical difficulties' and I should try checking again in 24 hours. Today still 500 Server Error. Reading the French Thai Consulate's announcement looks like the deadline was pushed out to Friday but my flight is departing on Saturday. Inspecting the browser traffic when the error happens, the problem is their API server can't retrieve the applications of my account. Someone on Reddit has woken up with another person's application meaning this incident has affected the database and it's serious. This was exactly my symptom also. Shortly after the payment and crash the website came back up and I was quickly able to download the payment receipt PDF. I did apply for a second visa out of desperation so I'm chasing the embassy to get that approved but no response as of yet. Tip for those affected by this issue and need a visa urgently, you're probably better off applying for a new visa because their database has been screwed up.
  7. Hello, One week ago I applied for a multi-entry TR visa on thaievisa.go.th from the UK. I got to the step where the payment was accepted and I got the PDF receipt. I haven't heard anything back yet about the visa, but since Friday when I log into the website I get into an Internal Server Error loop. The problem is 100% not with my computer, and if I create a new (dummy) account I don't get this error. My departure date is on Saturday and I'm starting to get worried if the visa will get processed in time. I've been back and forth with stupid emails to '[email protected]' where they tell me to clear the browser cache, create a new account (but I already have an application) but no real progress. Not sure what to do now? Do they have a support? My biggest concern is that if I can't see my application, will the embassy see it at all? I don't even mind submitting another 30-day visa application if I know that will get processed faster, but that might go to the bottom of the pile. Any suggestions appreciated.
