  1. blackshadow Bangkok/Nonthaburi But now I’m in Norway. Going back to Thailand in September
  2. DrJack54 For me my issue is that I failed getting a bank acc on tourist visa. I tried kasikorn in both Nonthaburi and Hua Hin. And was told I could only get a account if I was working or a student. So I want to try again through an agent. Yes I see now I started my topic a little vague. My only issue pr now is opening a bank account. I was just a little amazed by the fellow tourists I met. Right now I’m in Norway btw. Going back to Thailand/Bangkok in September
  3. Could anyone recommend me some good agents in Thailand for helping tourist with such as getting a bank acc on a tourist VISA, and such. ive talked to some fellow tourists on my flight back to Norway from Thailand. They been in Thailand for a year straight. I asked them how they managed to get VISA extensions like that. They told me that I should use a agent. Everything that is unsolvable, can be solved by an agent. Well I forgot to ask them what “bureau” they used hehe.
  4. Another thing struck my mind. Do I need to show them a travel&covid insurance for 60 more days? Or 30? I will off course get an insurance. But then I can do that after getting my 60 days extension approved. Feels like less a hassle.
  5. T Thanks. Ive been to that office one time before to get a normal 30 days tv extension. That was around 4 years ago. But I brought my GF and her mother to. To help with the language and just in case if there would be any misunderstandings. It went flawlessly. Got 30 Days from the day my TV expired. Not from the date I showed up. I believe it may help bringing a local Thai friend or family-in-law, if going to a place like that. Tho I never tried going there alone yet.
  6. Thanks. I emailed my embassy this morning. So I will screenshot or print the reply from them. I will use Nonthaburi immigration office. It’s a month until my 2 months tv runs out. So I have a good time. But I heard that 1 week prior is a good time to meet up there. I heard people going only 1 day prior.. I will not take a chance on that. But I understand people do so because they risk getting 30/60 days from the date they get the stamp. And that’s a bummer if going there 2 weeks prior
  7. Thanks a lot! I will use that affidavit. I allready emailed my embassy asking for a letter stating there’s an ongoing pandemic in my country. If/when I get a letter or just a reply stating they won’t issue a letter, by email. I will screenshot and add to my application I will deal with Nonthaburi immigration office.
  8. I will extend my 60 Days TR VISA by 60 Days as stated in this website url. I already have everything I need. But im not sure about “A letter from home country’s embassy in Thailand” what should such a letter contain? And is it really necessary? https://thethaiger.com/coronavirus/deadline-to-apply-for-60-day-covid-visa-extension-pushed-to-march-25
  9. Will this work with a 60 Days Tourist Visa? I have a 60 Days VISA. And I my plan was to extend it with 30 Days, the o’l fashion way at the immigration office. So can I extend it with 90 days instead of 30? Then later 90 more days with the web application?
  10. Update: Just got my thai pass today. Thank god! richard_smith237. I’m traveling with finnair. I did not add the free cancel or flexible ticket when I bought it. But maybe I’m wrong and can rebook or cancel anyway. I believe there’s some rules benefiting us consumers, that are common for EU/EEA/Schengen citizens. regarding cancellation. ^excuse my english I could use my insurance to. Now I just hope that my approved Thai Pass (AQ) will stay approved. Thanks for all the helpful feedback folks!
  11. Thanks for the heads up! now im currently waiting for a Thai pass. things got delayed as my booking confirmation trough agoda came to my email in Norwegian language.. So i had to fix that before applying. Or at least i thought so. But if im to late, or my Thai pass gets cancelled, i will go for the Phuket sandbox. Should have done that from the beginning. Its really a lot cheaper as you say.
  12. thanks for the replies! i think i got it now. so i should choose the 3rd plan in https://tp.consular.go.th/en/plan (alternativ quarantine), and then im allowed to do that in Bangkok. Im vaccinated with phizer 2 doses, so i only need 7 days if i understand correctly. Now i only need to find a CHEAP asq hotel. damn. sha+ close to suvarnabhumi was a little exspensive when i bought 1 night test&go. Hoping 7 - 10 days will give some sort of discount.
  13. Am I allowed to transit in Suvarnabhumi? Summed up: I booked my travel to Bangkok when test&go was open. Now I read that the only way for me entering Thailand is: The Blue Zone Sandbox (Sandbox Programme) I Bought a non refundable ticket + I see domestic flights are really cheap anyway, so I’m thinking of booking a flight from suvarnabhumi(Bangkok) to phuket. Transit maximum 6 hours, Then do the 7 days quarantine in Phuket. But am I even allowed to transit in suvarnabhumi? Or do I need to take a direct flight from my country to Phuket? And I’m also wondering what’s the difference between SHA+ vs SHA extra+
  14. Thanks, Doc! Sometimes the most simple aspects of VISA preparation can be confusing. especially when running out of time.
  15. can i put my name initials on "Name" and full name in "Applicants signature" or is it the other way around? Anyway, both fields should include my name right? would be a bummer if one of the fields is reserved for the official who gets my application.
