  1. Truthfully, I've yet to see "...reasonably argued and credible fact checking...". The "fact checker(s)TM" always seem to have an agenda. Thankfully, it is usually a very obvious agenda.
  2. How about an answer to this, please? https://aseannow.com/topic/1250034-major-asian-wide-“expat-vaccination”-survey/ Feb.11, "...we will be publishing the results in the next few days. "
  3. "Don’t we deserve to breathe cleaner air?" Surely, the plastic/paper/cloth masks people are mandated to wear will provide you with clean, filtered air, no?
  4. Careful there. "ơng tây" means "Mr. Westerner". "ôm tây" means "hug a westerner"
  5. Asean Now News said, "Join our 3 x a week Vietnam News, Travel and Expat information newsletter and keep up to date. https://aseannow.com/newsletter.php" Sure thing, once (if) you respond to my, and a forum moderator's, inquiries re: aseannow.com/topic/1250034-major-asian-wide-“expat-vaccination”-survey/
  6. "Ten young people returning from a late dinner injured..." Thus far there has been no speculation from the RTP as to how many liters of dinner had been consumed. A determination as to whether further investigation is warranted will be announced once the identities/positions of the youth's parents has been established. Updates may follow.
  7. Absolutely! I stated the following text in another thread. "Legal strains in Canada range from 5% to 30%, as stated on gov't packaging. As far as I know, there is no strain of marijuana that is at 0.2% when properly grown. 0.2% is called hemp." Should Thailand's proposed amendment to its "marijuana" laws be passed, the grand total of countries in the world where marijuana is legal would be two (still). Canada and Uruguay.
  8. Unless you're in Canada! Legal strains in Canada range from 5% to 30%, as stated on gov't packaging. As far as I know, there is no strain of marijuana that is at 0.2% when properly grown. 0.2% is called hemp.
  9. As per 1265/BYT-DP Travelers entering Viet Nam by air, road, sea, or rail must only present either a negative PCR test result done within 72 hours prior to departure, or a negative rapid test done within 24 hours of departure. Results must be certified by the authorities of the country where the tests are conducted. There is NO vaccine requirement for entry. There is NO quarantine requirement upon arrival if test is negative. Children under two years old are not required to take COVID-19 tests Arrivals must make medical declaration before entering and use Viet Nam’s COVID-19 mobile application (PC-COVID) during their entire stay according to regulations.
  10. Having seen what's left over after modern cremations, I suspect that even if cremated 75 years ago (low tech, low heat) there would still be sufficient remains to make a positive ID.
  11. "...was thought to have contracted COVID-19 from her grandson, who had returned from Phuket."
