  1. Issan Land to the right is woods. Neighbor to the left, x doctor, is fairly quiet aside from two dogs that go nuts when my rescue dog and I do our morning 2.5 mile walk. Across the street is a large pond.
  2. My Thai wife irons my clothes but one would never know it by looking at them. I've gotten to be quite the good ironer over the years
  3. Two years ago I went to V Siam optical on Sukhumvit 23. There is another location Sukhumvit 31. I bought Silhouette frame there and had the progressive lenses I already had put on the new frame. The frame cost $300. NO issues what so ever. I am going back there in a few weeks for the reverse. I have a very old Silhouette frame that I really like and have a script from my eye doctor in the States and see if they can do the lenses, progressive, etc
  4. My wife is having cataract surgery on her right eye at Rutnin Hospital in the Asoke area. She had same done on her left eye in the States for approximately $5500 usd. Up front was 15,000bt for the initial visit AND quick laser surgery on a hole in her retina. She has to wait 3 months for that to heal and the right eye cataract surgery is in June at a cost of 55,000bt. We considered using the government hospital in Nongbulamphu, which would of been a lot cheaper, but getting on a waiting list. To date we are very pleased with using Rutnin Hospital. Very thorough. More so than the USA doctor (who did my cataract surgery)
  5. I am sure she will do as great a job at APEC as she has done with the USA Southern Border. What a waste of a V.P.
  6. I always pay with a USA Visa Card in 7-11 up here in Issan and in BKK. NO surcharge. No issues what so ever other than the card machine being down once in a great while. They take Master Card but not AX
  7. Level 1. Gate 3. Outside. Obviously before security.
  8. Why not get your ATK test at Swampy airport. It's around 500 bt. Results within 30 minutes.
  9. I just called Schwab on my wife's debit card expiring. They are expressing it out to her in Issan. No cost to me.
  10. ANTIGEN TEST with results in about 15 minutes with paper. Pulse clinic Suk 13. Used it. No issues. More expensive than Dr. Donna. Dr. Donna (Medconsult Clinic). Many people use her services. I for one. 600 bt I believe. BKK, aka Swampy, airport. There's at least 3 places there. 500 bt I believe. Used it once back to ATL on Qatar airways
  11. I just made a cod here in Issan. Nongbulamphu. Driver just delivered it. Dog clippers. 3rd one. Piece of junk but she who is not to be disobeyed wanted it. ????‍????
  12. In September of last year I came in what was than COE. In November, while I was still here in Issan, I applied for the Thailand Pass and received same within 24 hours. I should note this was Version 1 of TP. My entry was 05 February. No issues of any sorts.
  13. I had a very similar problem. Using my USA card for Lazada for years. Than, wham, would not work. Not because of the card company. I had a go around over and over with Lazada with them asking me to send in certain information. Which I did and got the same request. Finally I had enough and cancelled my account.
