    I don't know about retiring, but a short visit was fun. Prices are very low, and encountered some extremely friendly locals. I understood the appeal quickly. Vietnam has some mainland China vibes to a limited extent. Same as cambodia/thailand. Ph is a whole different thing.

    this link info is outdated. Pcr is no longer needed. e-visa may not be needed, depending on country/number of days. insurance is needed.
