  1. Is it possible to cross the border at Ban Pakkad (บ้านผักกาด) and re-enter on the same day without the aid of an agency like Bangkok Buddy or Thai Visa Service?
  2. Thank you for your reply. Did you get a full-page Cambodian visa sticker in your passport?
  3. Has anyone done a border run with Bangkok Buddy? Would anyone recommend their service? https://bangkokbuddy.com/thai-visa-run/
  4. Which airline did you fly with from LHR?
  5. According to the Pattaya Mail (which may not be a very reliable source), 45+45 was proposed by the Tourist Authority of Thailand. It's a shame the proposal was not adopted. https://www.pattayamail.com/latestnews/news/prior-holiday-visas-to-visit-thailand-are-becoming-redundant-406232 "The Tourist Authority of Thailand is pressurizing the government to allow most vacationing foreigners to visit Thailand for up to three months without obtaining a visa from their local Thai embassy abroad. Visitors from 64 countries (including Brits, Russians, Australians, Americans and most mainland Europeans) are already visa-exempt. They obtain 30 days free-of-charge on arrival which can be extended for a further month at Thai immigration on payment of 1,900 baht. If the Thai Cabinet, as expected, accepts the proposal, these periods would become 45-plus-45 days for a total of three months."
  6. Are you sure it will be 45+30? Some people seem to think it will be 45+45. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1C_PdZFqvY&t=158s
  7. I want to apply for a single-entry tourist visa. The e-visa website allows you to upload “invitation letters from family/friends in Thailand” as proof of accommodation (document no. 5). Has anyone done this successfully? What does the letter need to say? Should it be written in Thai or English? Any advice would be most welcome.
  8. And yet the Thai embassy in London says that proof of accommodation is required for a single-entry tourist visa. https://london.thaiembassy.org/en/publicservice/84451-tourist-visa
  9. I would like to go to Thailand for 90 days. I plan to apply for a 60-day single-entry tourist e-visa and extend it once I get there. If I book outbound and return flights 90 days apart and upload the booking confirmation as document no. 4, can my application be rejected because my return flight is not within the initial 60-day period?
