If I want to take more than 200 cigarettes to Thailand is it a simple matter to declare them at customs and pay the duty?

I don't like thai cigarettes. Is it straightforward to declare more than 200 from duty free and pay the duty at customs?

i've taken them all out of the cardboard boxes they are still all in the blister packs with the med name printed. do you think this is ok?

I need to take about 12 different medicines to Thailand with me due to a heart condition. I read somewhere that they have to be in original packaging. Really! the boxes will take up so much space. Any knowledge about this. I have a letter from GP listing all my meds. Thanks

I'm having trouble getting insurance. 66 with heart failure. If I go to LOS uninsured what is the likely scenario if I trip over a ladyboy and fracture my skull or some thing. Will I get Treated? I never carry my bank cards with me when i'm out and about so would they get the police to go to my hotel room and get them or what? What if my credit card limit is not enough to pay?
