  1. I saw a small sign saying "Bananas" at a fork off the main road and it just made me curious. My curiosity was once again rewarded in several ways. I actually found 3!!! cool objects, and I fell in love with this one a little bit. I'm still thinking about making a video about it. It's not really my thing with the Lost Place, but I think I'll make an exception here ???? If you look at the calendar, the property has been empty since 2019. However, I don't understand why, the property next door on which there is also a villa is inhabited. In terms of location and architectural style, I would prefer this property to previous villas, I just like it a little more rustic and with nature around me...
  2. I actually just wanted to stop by a little old movie theater called Moonlight Cinema today because I found it on Google saying "Permanently Closed". When I got there, I first had to look for where a cinema is supposed to be. Since the street is being completely renewed at this point of all places, I thought at first that the cinema was history and had already been demolished. When I took a closer look, I discovered the old lettering on the gray wall. So I guess I was right after all. So along the road and looking for a way to get behind the fence, which fortunately turned out to be not too difficult. But what I found there was an absolute highlight, even for me as an old hand. I had expected a small cinema and found a complete abandoned village. Besides the cinema, which was really very small, more like a projection room the size of a classroom, there were several restaurants in different conditions, a hall for live concerts in which some of the instruments were still standing, a workshop, a few living huts of various sizes and, and , and... An extra highlight was the jeep, which had the key in it and which actually rattled a bit. If the battery had been even better, it might have managed to start. In any case, my short visit to a cinema turned into around three hours in which I could take my pictures undisturbed - apart from the usual price here in such locations, x mosquito bites (y)
  3. Who doesn't know them, the famous/notorious full and half moon parties on Ko Pha-ngan. Either from stories, or because he was there himself. On today's tour of the island I passed the Halfmoon location and took a closer look at it. Here, the pandemic hit hard from 100 to 0. The last event schedule is from March 2020. Since then, the party animal has starved. Despite everything, there are still full crates of drinks and various equipment around. Whether they are still edible or usable in the tropical climate here, I dare to doubt...
  4. Finally received an invitation to a Slip N Fly party again today. Since I love pools and water slides, I've been excited all week. At noon we finally got going, as the foam party was supposed to reach its climax around 5 p.m. When I arrived at my destination, I looked around at a loss, had I received the wrong address? No scooter lined the otherwise crowded parking lot. No guide or security as far as the eye can see. what was going on I took the flyer out of my pocket and read it again. <deleted> now everything was clear to me, 07.03.2020 was written on it in large numbers. I'm probably a bit late there. Well, at least we'll take some pictures then ???? At least Ruffy had his fun as always.
  5. I know it. It´s not only in Thailand iligeal, i think it´s in all areas not allowed. But i look everytime that´s nobody there and i do this since i´m a kid. I love to expolre abandoned areas and i have in all the years and countrys no problems. If someone is coming and see me, i talk with them in a normal way and show him what i do. The only thing in many years i must delete my pictures on the cam.
  6. After my internet connection has been deteriorating lately, I set out today to find out why. Parked the motorcycle at the entrance to the "Nature Forest" and then walked 3 kilometers up the mountain. When I got to the top, the cause quickly became clear to me. It seemed that no one wanted to see what was right. Sometimes not even the offices locked. Sloppy shop, will probably change my provider. Does he then have such an amazing prospect?
  7. This mall near Phuket Old Town is still guarded by a security service despite the miserable condition, so unfortunately I could not take any pictures from the inside.
  8. Once again a small special find on the way to the beach. This should probably be some kind of event bar. Right between a hotel and a school. Great choice of seat ???? I think the money ran out or the pandemic put a big spanner in the works. All I know is that the helicopter would have been looted long ago if it were standing around freely and openly in Germany. So all I can say is: "Welcome aboard, fasten your seatbells and start the engine" ????
  9. I've actually known this ruined building since I was on Koh Samui for the first time. If it should be a golf conference hotel, I don't know why it ultimately failed. In any case, golf is still played here, although the location in the middle of the mountains is a bit crazy for a golf course... But once again excellent for the drone ????
  10. I had had this huge hotel complex on my radar for a long time but never found the entrance. I finally found him after a long search. No wonder I've been looking for so long. The road to the complex is now blocked with a wall, in front of which the rubbish is still piling up. You have to come to that first. The hotel consists of three large buildings, although only this one seemed to be finished and fully used. I couldn't find out why it was abandoned. It must have been before the pandemic, since the trees that are now growing in the building are already of a corresponding size. I only visited one of the other two buildings, as the second one was just a shell. The whole complex was supposed to be expanded, but that never happened.
  11. I went to this restaurant a few years ago to enjoy the sunset over dinner. Unfortunately, it is only a sad reflection of its former beauty.
  12. When I was in Koh Samui for the first time many years ago, I discovered this Jungle Club, which was already in ruins at the time. In the meantime there is only one house left, the wooden huts have all collapsed and nature is reclaiming its property bit by bit. The two buggies that are upstairs at the house would be the right thing for my collection, but unfortunately no chance to get them.
  13. And the Blue Lagoon is not so luxery, a visit it too ????
