    Nothing is pretty much enforced as of today. If you like to wear a mask, do it. If you don't, so be it. Laos is a very chilled and laid back country and that is why we love it.

    Frankly speaking, it is not that bad. You can find very good practitioners in Vientiane. For the day to day health issue, it is good enough. If you have a major issue, and you need surgery, just cross the bridge and go to Udon Thani.

    You can book a sim card before your departure and have it delivered to your hotel or airbnb in Vientiane and Luang Prabang. There is an online service for this.

    No you cannot pay the train by credit card. You can pay by cash only at the counter.
