  1. The writer of this article is full of bull<deleted>, and hating on everyone else that is having a fun life! The writer matches the image of " an old, very lonely, and desperate man". The writer pretends that Thailand is the perfect country, where having fun (travel vlogs / pranks) are not allowed ???? and we should have respect for their perfect society and culture??? ???? Some quick facts: Thailand has a billion dollar 18+ industry, one of the most corrupted countries, huge discrimination / dual pricing against foreigners, huge income inquality and loads of very poor people, the country is overflowded with drugs, no social security system, and no democraty for the last 8 years. The writer must "accidentally forget" to mention this all right ???? and then the only thing he complains about is some Youtubers promoting Thailand in an informative and fun way? ????
  2. Congratulations! and welcome back to Thailand! And we don't need to see your 'proof'. If someone doesn't believe you, he can simply scroll further (it takes only 1 second time). Some people make it a day-activity to ask 'proof' of everything that they don't believe on the internet, however I got better things to do 555
  3. I'm waiting for the update from the OP! (interesting topic). I got denied myself 1 month ago at the PoiPet border, while that was my first visa-run / border-run in 3 years time! Then I took a minivan to Phnom Penh and I fly to Bangkok. There immigration questioned me and said that border-runs are not allowed anymore if you stay longer in Thailand than an actual tourists. A $300-500 bribe is common at that border. I got that bribe offered too (by an unofficial agent) (ofcourse). I will never go to PoiPet again: that was a once in a lifetime mistake (but worth trying if you did 0 or 1 border runs)
  4. Hello everyone, I always paid around 4.5 THB / kWh for my electricity bill while renting a room / condo. In January 2023 I moved to another condo (in Pattaya) and this time the staff said the price was 6 THB / kWh. After living there 1 month, the staff said now the price is increased to 8 THB / kWh and he said that is the new government rate. Is this true? Or is my condo scamming me? I know quiet a lot of condo's scam their guests by charging 8 THB / kWh while the government rate is 4.5 kWh. I know in a lot of countries the electricity bill went up in 1 year so that might be the case here also. I just try to get more information before making any accusations.
  5. I read on the website of the Thai Embassy in Vientiane (Laos): Required documents for the application of a single-entry Tourist Visa: Evidence of adequate finance: 3-month financial statements with an average balance of 20,000 baht per person. Question 1. How do I provide this financial statement? Can I just screenshot it from my bank-account? Question 2. What do they exactly want to see on this financial statement? Do I need to provide every bank-transaction of my bank-account in the last 3 months?
  6. Sorry for the late response and thank you everyone for commenting / responding! A follow-up of my story / situation: I was denied at the Poipet border (Thai side) during my first visa-run / border-run in 3 years because ''I stayed in Thailand too long according to the immigration officer'' (I stayed 2 years in Thailand on a Covid19-visa). Then I fly from Cambodia to Thailand (Bangkok) and upon entering at immigration I was taken apart for questioning. Why I want to stay in Thailand so long, what is my job, am I working in Thailand, do I have friends in Thailand. The immigration officer at Suvarnabhumi Airport was very nice to me. I had to show evidence of a first hotel-night and a flight out of the country. She noted everything in the immigration system and told me to get a Tourist Visa next time and spend some time out of Thailand. Then I was granted entry to Thailand!
  7. They cancelled the exit stamp (so I could return to Cambodia on the same previous tourist visa)
  8. I don't have any "cancelled / deny stamp". She asked me seriously if I wanted it. Ofcourse I said no. And she let me go quickly back to Cambodia
  9. Hello everyone ????‍♂️ I would like to have some advice of the following situation: There will be new Covid19 entry requirements on 9 January 2023. So I did a border run / visa run on 7 January, sleep 1 night in Cambodia, and return to Thailand on 8 January. I was denied entry to Thailand at the Thai / Poipet border. The immigration officer said that I had been in Thailand too long (4 months) within 1 year (because of Covid19). I have read a lot of bad stories about the Poipet border officials. Do you think it would make a difference if I fly back into Thailand from Cambodia? The Thai immigration officer was about to give me a "denied access" stamp in my passport + put a "denied access" declaration form in front of me. She asked me: "Do you want it"? I said no. She said: "Go back to Cambodia quickly then!". Another question: Did they register in their syatems that I was denied access at Poipet? Since she didn't gave me a denied access stamp / form
