You want to compare the mess Putin is in to the mess you allege Biden is in? Really?
The subject is whether Xi has invaded Taiwan yet.

Words straight out of the Trump handbook
It was a swamp before Trump got there. Trump wanted to drain the swamp, but he couldn't find the plug.

No, maybe Putin warned him of the mess he is in for invading Ukraine. LOL.

As for the 300 vacancies, most could go unfilled and nothing much would change.
Because you know that of course, thanks for such analysis and you have no problem with Tommy Tuberville blocking it then out of sheer spite.
D.C. is a dirty place controlled by filthy people. Compromise is now a dirty word in Congress.
I remember Colin Powell's wife asking him not to run for president because she had enough of the place.
And no, I don't approve of Sen. Tuberville holding our military hostages.

I think the Chinese know that its the first time in 200 years the US military has no Chief of Staff with more than 300 vacancies for promotion not being filled all because of one Republican senator Tommy Tuberville. Blocking all this because of protest on Pentagon policy on abortion.
If you mean the U.S. Army, Gen. Randy George has taken over until someone is confirmed by the Senate. As for the 300 vacancies, most could go unfilled and nothing much would change.

Hawaii is experiencing increasingly dry conditions, with scientists calculating that 90% of the state is getting less rainfall than it did a century ago, with the period since 2008 particularly dry.
The growing susceptibility of Hawaii to major fires was highlighted by a 2015 study that found that rainfall has been 31% lower in the wet season since 1990, in selected monitoring sites on the islands. The state, known for its volcanoes and lush forests, is in parts drying out as global heating continues to escalate.

Most of the areas where frequent brush fires occur are lands that were deforested for the planting of pineapple and sugar or the establishment of cattle ranches. These are lands that already had a history of low rainfall and were irrigated.
Now that sugar and most of the pineapple is gone fast growing invasive grasses, such as guinea grass from Africa, have taken over. During the summer months these grasses are easily ignited by dry lightning. Two years ago one of these fires came close to torching our home.

You mean that the Pentagon is run by woke brass that haven't figured out why recruiting goals are not being met causing our armed forces to be seriously undermanned. The Chinese know that. They also know that Biden is foolishly depleting our strategic oil reserve in order to bring gas prices down. They even bought some of that oil.
And what's this ask putin (sic) bit?

The Chinese are quite rational. They just don't have the same objectives as the U.S.
If Xi were rational he wouldn't be saber rattling in regards to China's neighbors surrounding the South China Sea. He is not rational if he thinks invading Taiwan will not backfire.

He and his TEAM are in a position to know what’s going on,I liked his comment (wanting a rational relationship) makes perfect sense
As long as Xi and his CCP are in power only a fool would think a rational relation is possible.

Social media may have a part in influencing these alarming incidents. Time to fight fire with fire, firearms, that is.

Former president Rodrigo Duterte thought he could deal with Chinese aggression by distancing the Philippines from the U.S. China became more aggressive.. Now Ferdinand Marcos Jr. (Bong Bong) has welcomed back the U.S. military. Smart move?
Only time will tell.

Unless married to a U.S. citizen most immigrants are required to wait 5 years before being eligible to apply for citizenship. A spouse need wait only 3 years. Hence the 5 year waiting period to qualify for SNAP (food stamps) and Medicaid.

Here in Hawaii it used to be that only frozen durian was available. Now locally grown durian is often seen in farmers markets. Bought one last week. It happened to be an unnamed variety, but was of excellent quality. The price was about the same we paid in Chanthaburi this past February. Grafted and seedling trees are also available. One nursery is offering grafted named varieties for $100. Seedling trees go for $35.

"we will do just fine." So will China, exceedingly well.

Now if they would only open more Apple stores here.
It took years to get one.
We have nothing here in Pattaya and it's a long time coming.
Girlfriend went to the local Apple store to find out why her iPhone was not charging. I suggested she needed a new battery, but the guy behind the counter sold her a new charger. Not the problem. Went to an independent cell phone shop. Problem was the battery, like I said. So much for Apple stores.

I think he's emboldened by the idea that they cannot lock him up, Secret Service protection and all that, so the worst they can do to him is take his money. If it looks like they actually might put him in the cage the doctors will come in and diagnose something fatal and he'll live out his days in a hospital to dodge the sentence. Or maybe exile.
As for money he can generate millions of $$$ per week from his
foolspatriots.Actually I have doubts about the medical thing, if anything it's a last resort as we know how vain he is "'healthiest person I've ever seen!' said the doctor." Scaramucci also thinks a medical excuse will be used. Imagine him showing up to court with a walker, like Weinstein!

It does increase his chance of being nominated by the Republicans but it decreases his chances of winning the presidency.
Of course we know if he does lose again he will claim he won and attempt another coup.
Would be interesting to see what the Vegas oddsmakers are saying about this.

The mere mention of an investigation against Clinton by the FBI in 2016 cost her the election so it seems a stretch to imagine that Trump would benefit by these charges.
Judging from some of the comments here and many other comments on other social media it surprises me how strong the support for Trump remains. Will it help him to win? First of all he has to win the GOP nomination. If he does, then who his Democrat opponent is can make a difference. Anybody But Clinton comes to mind.
Another factor is the mindsets of right-leaning conservatives and left-leaning liberals. Each have there own unique ideas of ethics and morality.

Many U.S. presidents, including Biden, have issued executive orders. This is in direct conflict with the Constitution's separation of power. During the first few weeks in office, Biden issued 30, yes 30, executive orders. Maybe you have a different idea what "separation of power" means.
