Hi Rob,
Only try to open an account at the main branch of a Thai Bank in Suphanburi Town and not a sub-branch like those in Departments/Malls Stores.
Good Luck.

Don't forget to get a re-entry permit before you leave if you are on an extension of stay in Thailand.

We stayed at
a couple for times. Not bad, good Thai food, but you will need to use your own car to visit the area as it is at the end of the town.
Also you can get a long tail boat to pick you up from the resort.
Safe travel and enjoy Kan.

That may of been stated at one immigration office but there is no written rule for it.
Every office has their own policies about TM30 reporting. Many state you only need to do a report if you change addresses.
Hi Joe,
As a PR holder there is a written rule in the Red Police Book

Walk the Wooden Bridge, visit Sangkhla Buri - Wat Wang Wiwekaram Temple, rent a long tail boat and have a river trip, stay overnight by the river and visit the Three Pagodas Pass.
Visit Thong Pha Phum and Vajiralongkron Reservoir on your way back or the other way around.

Hi Dazinoz,
I have done many trips along that route you are taking and visited a few places along the way.
As I enjoy Reservoirs and Dams most of which are on the way down to Phuket and on your way back.
Link to my photos and maps is below. Please have a look, as there are too many places to mention in one thread.

Have fun and drive safely.

As I mentioned before in bold.
Our house is 2 km up river from the Famous Bridge, apporx. 70 km from the crest of the Srinakarind Dam and felt nothing at all. All my empty bottles of cooking oil etc. are still standing even with the aftershocks.
