I don't think this will be as toxic for farangs as it appears. His fanaticism during Covid was rethought and he decided he had misspoke. He had the right idea on the cannabis issue and I think he deserves a second chance.

People do not come to Thailand to live if they are "high class". It's a cost-saving measure for most of us. Unless you retire as a multi-millionaire, retirement will be a challenging experience in the USA and some other countries.

Trump's priorities are truly bizarre. He seems obsessed with renaming as a way of ensuring his legacy. The next President can reverse all of these changes.

El Chapo's incarceration is much more benevolent in the USA than in Mexico or Thailand. At least the food is edible.
