My expertise is accounting .. so when I comment on accounting I am well within my field. As I told you.. if its about technical stuff / engines and such I yield quickly to superior knowledge. I know what I am good at and what not.

I seem to recall that Enron and Tyco had some pretty good accounting professionals.  Maybe those self same people  are now providing consultancy services to the Junta  and its cronies ?

  2. Nothing other than identifying themselves as complete nitwits.   The US authorities will most certainly recover those victims bodies but only once it is safe to do so.  If those Thais consider that the US authorities should forgo appropriate health and safety measures then perhaps they should just return to live in their beloved Thai homeland where health an safety takes a back seat,  or even further back.

  3. Now if it were a million, and with the world looking on, The junta would not dare instruct the military or RTP to use it as a shooting ground. But with 10,000 suggested, which probably only means 5,000 then my worry is that the Junta will be aware that the grouse season started on 12th august and just treat Yinglucks supporters similarly.  I hope not , God forbid, but with those in change now than any thing may happen.

same same. In fact why do people continue with such an abysmal service and then post their complaints on here.  It is as if they are only subscribing so that they may having something to moan about.  The Victor Meldrew syndrome perhaps.

Yep, it's merely unfortunate when it's a stranger being wrongly executed - bet you your opinion would be rather different if it were you with your neck in a noose.

Well I am not that psychotic to feel the need to murder anyone so not likely to happen.  I would actually go further and suggest that the world of do-gooders should also be reviewed for potential aiding and assisting murderers to avoid capital punishment, but just my opinion.

  6. Actually the road deaths in Thailand need to worsen significantly compared with China.  Just read a recent article regarding a bus crash that killed a few and in that report it stated

"The World Health Organization estimates that a quarter of a million people were killed on Chinese roads in 2013, the latest year for which figures are available."

Now if only we could get Thais to aim for that figure  then in 40 years time the roads should be a lot safer for visitors.

For starters, you implied I do not understand the Thai language, let's start by addressing that?

In your professional judgement, what did I misunderstood of the Thai language?

Here we go, and the p***ng match begins by people professing to have a knowledge of the Thai language and have  a good position, yet acting like children in the "acting like children" syndrome as many do on this forum.  Grow up and address the posters original topic rather than trying to score childish points off one another.
