I went to the driving range in the evening and took a beer from 7/11.... Felt a bit guilty putting it on the table...as everyone else was drinking coffee... Except they weren't, they were drinking beer out of plastic cups, served by the Thai shopkeepers at the range who would come out and fill the beakers at regular intervals. The range is owned by local bigwigs. Everyone knows what is going on. It's the same in bars and restos now. This is why I don't fear the alcohol ban being lifted. People are already drinking together. Everyone knows it, and if you don't, well, you're not really on the ball.

Why do you sarcastically write "thoughts and prayers" ? I mean , who does that? I note that with your recycling of the tired "horse dewormer" meme you out yourself as someone who wishes to continue to deny the effectiveness of early treatment. Why would you do that when it has benefitted so many? Many vaccinated people are getting sick. Many experts disagree with the constant lockdowns. Characterising anyone who has an alternative viewpoint as a high-school dropout is silly, and demeans only yourself. In short, your post comes up short in many ways and is worthy only of contempt. You need to up your game.

Most people I know here in Thailand haven't had it... There is a lot of hype and unnecessary fear. This new tactic of vaxxing schoolchildren is a horror show and criminal in my eyes.

These guys are always gonna be safety first. Their job is to protect from Covid. However, it is not their job to assess the impacts of lockdowns and all the other measures. It is up to other people in Thailand to speak up to say "hey, we know you guys mean well, but... enough is enough... "... or whatever you wanna say. My point being, is that there is a wider picture, the health of and well-being of a "free" society, and who has got their finger on that pulse?

if both the vaxxed and unvaxxed can get and transmit covid, what is the point of a vax pass ?
