About Me
I first lived in Thailand in the year 1972 at Chai Mong Kol 2, Posai Road, Udorn. I met my wife Nipaphan there and worked as a F-4 aircraft mechanic in the United States Air Force. Returned to the USA in 1973 as the war in Vietnam was winding down. In addition we lived in Florida, Germany and California.
Moved to 283/12 Honeymoon Bungalows, Subsiri Road, Chaonprathan, Nakorn Ratchasima (Korat) from Jan 1974 to Jan 1976. Married Nipaphan on 1 October 1975.
Retired from the United States Air Force in the Rank of Chief Master Sergeant (E-9) thanks to my loving wife's support and dedication. Went back to college and received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Professional Aeronautics. Worked for Boeing as Flight Ramp Manager and Senior Industrial Engineer on the C-17 in Long Beach, California. And then on to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company as an Aeronautical Engineer Senior Staff Lead, in research and development of the F-16 aircraft at Edwards Air Force Base Flight Test Center in California. Retired for the second time, from Aerospace in August 2009.
We had decided to retire in Chiang Rai and moved into our home in Bandu in May 2007. I lost my wife to cancer on 20 March 2008 after over 33 years of marriage. After she passed away I decided to continue on with our plans to retire in Thailand. So, I permanently moved here in December 2009.
